In life, there is a rule that must never be broken. If it is broken the shift will lead to a road of chaos and destruction on epic proportions. That rule was broken with the inception of the Light forge undead. A universal balance must be sought after in all things. Cosmic Balance in the Universe, one where light needs darkness and vice versa, and if one of them is removed from the scales, then everything will cease to exist. The light will consume itself in the purity of all things. Darkness will slowly consume itself until there is no life.
The first rule states that everything needs a counterbalance. This counterbalance is their to keep the cosmic scale from tipping too far. With the creation of undead by the light. Shifted the balance too far. The light brought forth resurrection and darkness brought forth undead. There is no counterbalance with light forge undead. Darkness can not raise a being to life only to the undead.
It started light forge Draenei marched on to spread light. The balance was moving too far on the cosmic scale. As is descended too far right on the cosmic scale. In the universe, cracks began to appear. Slowly Light moved on to consume itself. Purging all before it. First with Mag har and it’s world and slowly moving on to Azeroth. The purge of Vulpera was the start of an ending that will consume all life and undead on Azeroth.
If wondering what I am talking about. Yin and yang.
Here my wacky Sunday thread.

I agree we must kill Calia and raise more real Undead to fight for Sylvanas.
All hail the Banshee Queen.

She need to be stop for the sake of all life. How else the forsaken going to get new bodies.
“The light has made a pact with the enemy of all”
Naa, we have seen plenty of void based and void infuse entities in the game since vanila, lightforged should be the counterweight
I am already dead so its no issue for me, at the end of the day I just want to kill more people to make the pain go away for a little while like a fix.
All Hail the Dark Lady!
Where they brought back to life by viod? If not there a total difference.
what? you know that death is not void right? the same way fel is not light
The darkness the light is in opposition to is the void, not death. I’m fairly certain the void does indeed use both resurrection and undeath and a few things in between.
And as popular as the philosophy of balance is these days, I’m not entirely sure a balance between light and void is actually required for a happy, functional universe.

And when all is dead…what then? Death cannot create life. Everything that serves death was taken from the living and corrupted…not created. So when all is said and done…nothing.
Restoring a life and creating life are two separate things.

I think you either very confused or very balmy. Not sure what. The light created a undead being. They dark can not create a living being. Therefore it in imbalance. A death knight is undead fyi. It can not have kids.
I agree! The only way to fix this is to make light forge undead alliance and high elves horde >:D
The author Raymond Feist has it that Void and Light were all that was and perfect balance was achieved. Then Light got a hobby of weaving together strands to create STUFF. Void wishes only to return to the perfect balance so gobbles up said STUFF. A happy and functional universe from our perspective requires STUFF. Void is old school and says NO STUFF.
Something that is in perfect balance may not be something we could even exist in.

That pretty neat. Think of this the void is just a shadow of the light. Both the same as it co-exists together. As a counter to each other powers.
True darkness/death is the opposite of light it devoid of anything living. That even its own shadow can not be seen as it so dark. It has no true opposite in its realm. Darkness has no balance. Despite this, it maintains a balance.
Who is the stronger of the two?
The undead are an abomination that upset the balance of life. Dead should be dead, not walking around turning into smoky Lost demons.
