Balance Druids OP- nerf frenzied regeneration

Frenzied Regen non-dispellable healing for 8.5k+ in BGs, every ability is instant cast, Starsurge massive AoE, highest armor mitigation out of all the casters.

Why does the class with the best mobility get only instant cast spells? Even if you are in a boomkins face they will starsurge, moonfire, sunfire, and if they proc a 3s stun will just instagib you with Starfire.

PvP trinket out. Stun / silence them they’re actually pretty easy to kill compared to priests/ paladins / shamans.

its a 3min cooldown, and like every other heal its affected by the pvp reduction.

btw the only pvp heal that needs a nerf is riptide.

Riptide is 700-800, Frenzied is every 3m you are unkillable. The entire point of moonkins high armor mitigation was that they weren’t supposed to have so much survivability AND utility, and would have to switch out of forms of moonkin form to do stuff, opening themselves up.

Now you just run around chain casting instant casts without a care in the world to being silenced. Big skill.

I mained moonkin through 1.12 and am going back to it. The state it’s in is ridiculous. There no more nuance to the spec, no more go bear for a feral charge, or slap some point in resto for an extra dot. 29/11/11 and 30/0/21 gone forever for literally 51/0/0 faceroll PvE parsing. Dying to a boomkin with wolves+sham rage while countering every Starfire and just dying to Starsurge, Moonfire, and Sunfire is busted.

Had a feeling this was a shaman main disguised as a druid shell poster child. FYI, Starsurge is a single target ability that was OP for 3 days during phase 2.
What you’re probably referring to is Starfall ability. And yes, that ability needs nerfed… it does way too much damage. They need to put their damage elsewhere instead of stacking it all on a rune that hits everything within a 40 yard area.

The entire balance tree needs to be reworked IMO. There is no hit talents, no threat reduction and the stun for starfire needs to be like priest’s blackout talent and be separated.

He’s just mad he doesnt always kill every player he comes across as is his shaman right.

Again dying to Starsurge, Moonfire, Sunfire with no counterplay is busted. I did not even mention Starfall, but thanks for mentioning it. That spell is strong as well. Starfall you can CC a druid out of though, the rest of their kit slaps hard and isn’t on a CD, and the fact they have insane survival CD’s in lieu of Survival Insincts and Improved Frenzied Regen.

I woudn’t even care about the damage if you could kill a druid. Frenzied Regen healing for 9k, 1 button, no dispellable is broken though. What other spells heals for nearly that much? Lmao, just stop.

edit: i would trade wolves, riptide, and earthshield for frenzied regen, survival instincts, survival of the fittest, and barkskin.

I know some won’t be happy until each tick of Starfall kills opposing faction members but theres the rest of us.

I would trade frenzy for riptide and Earthshield all day. I would even trade it for sacred shield. Even warlock infinite heal drain life. Or shadow priest VE. Damn why do I even play Druid…

Improved FR is a problem when your stat being consumed can be regenerated extremely easily for a good slap of hp back.

Starfall is supposed to be powerful. Dont get in its range or stun the druid, iirc starfall is suppressed during stuns.

Not really. Balance Druids are quite strong.

Boomy is like C tier atm
Feral is F tier trash, might be worse spec in pvp tbh.

Resto is pretty decent if people protect them

Killing boomy is a lot easier than pala/locks/hunter

Lock is beyond broken atm and under the radar because nobody plays them
