Balance Druid is horrible REWORK

Balance druid and this random rework is sitting at a poor spot. Balance got nothing new to show for but 3 new passives. A big disappointment in these DEV for thinking these random RNG proc passive is what they call a good rework. Please stop making RNG passive proc into a new rework. When RNG proc passive skills are implemented too much as a rework. It just shows how much work the dev team actually puts in. Pure Laziness and poor planning. At this point. It is best to just rework and give Balance druid a new/fluid playstyle that doesn’t requires a long dot dot dot dot 2 cast to go into rotation to build up to spend/repeat. Getting pretty old with the balance druid dmg being an RNG proc passive…

Was so excited to see Goldrinn go from 2 to 1 talent point, but then it hit for 53k, with the same proc chance.

Balance druid still doesnt feel good to play, it feels better at least in pvp but the problem is… you lack either defensives or mobility (lots of defensives but they are all trash). The other issue is the slow wind up time of applying moonfire and sunfire then getting into eclipse is still annoyingly slow for no reason outside of bloat.

I personally want to see them merge moonfire and sunfire into one dam spell and make the cast speed increase baseline out of eclipse for eclipse abilities and i think it would fix the awful feeling of wind up. The wind up would still be slow but at least its not dreadfully slow like it is now.

I want to see significant buffs to regrowth, i want the instant regrowth to be baseline on balance as it is on feral after X amount of starsurges\starfalls.

I also think balance druid should get a fun proc back. I dont know what it should be, but something fun would be nice. Maybe add back in full moon like we had in legion, maybe give us a proc to cast full moon instantly rng wise. I dont know something actually fun(not just some random RNG thing we dont interact with and just drops without our input). Maybe we can empower our full moon to a solar fall which drops a sun that does extra damage. Maybe when full moon is baseline it can be cast while moving to give balance a bit of mobility

Ideally just get rid of eclipse as a rotational mechanic and bring back something more interesting. Spamming the same ability is boring

I wish touch of cosmo/hail of stars was actually usable but it ends up being a significant dps loss. Boomy needs some procs that make a meaningful rotational change so its not so scripted.

I Specced OUT of Denizen of the Dream after the patch this week. It procced ONCE in 2 completed Delves I did.

So bad. Go from nice easy fun rotation to bunch of abilities and CDs that dont line up. Plus Stellar Flare. So bad.

I am assuming NOT. In fact I assume it was bad rng but I mean that was BAD BAD RNG lol and way to sporadic for me to waste a talent point on it.

Balance druids in their tree have 11 RNG talents. I have not had free time to check all of the other caster spec trees to see if almost 30% of their trees are passive RNG talents or not, but will look into it. Blizzard needs to, and I can’t be more direct then put emphasis in the word “NEEDS” to combine 2 or 3 of the passives/RNG talents together, then add 2 defensive relents to our spec tree and at least one meaningful damage spell. As seen in many threads, that damage spell should revolve around an easy way to get our DoT’s out quicker. I’ve seen posts stating that stelar flare should be like vampiric touch, where it applies our DoT’s to a target or even make it like a shadow crash on a 30 second CD. This would be a talent I would take. I mainly play PvP, and have never taken stellar flare due to it being a casted astral spell where if I am kicked, I can not cast, and it is incredibly weak.

Regardless, balance Druid needs less RNG, better ways to get up and running (DoT’s being the crux that takes the most time), and defensive talents on the balance Druid spec tree. We are not asking for balance to be the top of the charts, we are asking to be able to survive, and do good damage with a rotation that makes since.

Keeper of the grove in pvp allows for balance players to blast starsurges into a target. To not cap on AP, we have to keep the starsurges rolling, making it awkward to cast to get dream burst out before that timer runs out. I feel as though dream burst should not fall off, or the timer should be extended to allow for balance player to get those out.

Druids cannot be Dracythr, there is no money in druid development. Afterall this is business. Make sure to buy that 90$ mount to help afford more AI based balancing.

Brother, I have seen so many posts from you regarding dragons not able to be druids. I get it. I thought the same thing at first, but might elf Druids will still be better. Not to mention, how do you put glide on a bear, cat, etc. there’s too much for blizzard to figure out for dragons to be druids including creating all new forms. Maybe one day. But right now, balance Druid’s need a good amount of work to become playable. Your comment doesn’t fit here and complaining about a mount being put up for sale is just whining.

It’s frustration at the amount of bugs and the feeling of bait and switch with .5 class balancing. Constructive criticism with no-poor feedback was the last two months. If that route worked something would have been fixed.

I’ve always thought that Stellar Flare could be exactly the result of this merge.
