If you’re excluding external buffs like PI I find that hard to believe. The crit they can get even in this tier is bananas. I’m consistently seeing ~80% crit rate with their main filler.
It’s pretty good, but there’s a reason why fire becomes just godlike in ICC. It will keep scaling a lot, it’s just not there yet.

Sounds like your gear sucks. I was one of the top performing boomkins in NA back in the day and probably one of the few who actually acheived full ICC bis. Eclipse gets very consistent once youre above a certain crit threshold, and with the soft cap for Starfire youre almost untouchable on the charts. Only warlocks will be able to compete while mages cry in the corner for PI and innervates.
If youre struggling for eclipse procs then youre probably pushing too hard for the gearscore meta and have too much haste relative to crit. You only need a couple pieces to hit the haste softcap.
It sounds like you have no idea how getting into Lunar eclipse works tbh.
