Balance Druid Eclipse & Celestial Alignment Issues

Current eclipses are reset by casting Celestial Alignment (or Chosen of Elune), but not by Primordial Arcanic Pulsar (which grants Celestial Alignment).

Testing on the dummies shows that if I wrath twice and enter lunar eclipse, my crit bonus to Starfire is 20%.
If I cast 2 Starsurges, each gives +6% crit, putting me at 32% crit. There are two ways to go into celestial alignment from here:

  1. If that second starsurge puts me at 300 astral power and primordial arcanic pulsar procs and I get celestial alignment, I get both eclipses, but my lunar is maintained and it remains at 32% crit. I can starsurge 2x more and keep going 44% crit.
  2. I cast Celestial Alignment, I gain solar eclipse (I already have lunar), however my lunar eclipse is reset and my crit bonus drops to 20%. Using the ability resets my lunar (or wrath if I have that one proc’d) eclipse.

Why does entering Celestial Alignment via the ability reset my eclipses, but entering Celestial Alignment via Primordial Aracnic Pulsar does not? It looks like Celestial Alignment (the ability) / Chosen of Elune are bugged and are resetting your eclipse bonuses when they should not be.

at least you didnt spend 150k on the timeworn dreambinder to not stack with convoke starsurge/starfall casts

Anyone from Blizzard able to confirm if this breaking the old eclipse is working as intended?

Bump for real. this is an issue.

Why does the same mechanic work differently based on how you start it?
