Since you are abusing the flagging system to boost your fragile ego, I am muting you for a year. Bye.
Mute me forever.
And my advice to you is.
The bigger question is, why are both alliance and horde too cowardly to go and kill the boss? Do people really want that quest to sit in their logs till end of March (when classic ashran comes around) ??
Youâre extremely unlikely to succeed in doing so without pushing flags and killing the tower mage.
The Alliance wonât ever kill Volâjin because they wonât ever kill Jeron (Horde tower mage). They are actually far more likely to win if they donât attempt to fight him at all since the effort almost always ends in a wipe thanks to his knockback.
The Horde can very rarely kill Tremblade because they always kill Rylai (Alliance tower mage). Killing the opposing tower mage is worth 50 kills. When you add that 50 to the kills from the natural course of the battle, that puts the Horde so close to winning before they even get a chance to attempt Tremblade.
I think Priestnoodle has the right idea.
U just reminded me I need to que up and solo Ashran for fun.
not gonna lie, Horde mage having a knockback is a bit unfair.
But when I queue Merc for alliance, we often win just by turtling at mage.
Ive lost before when we get 2 healers to the alliance having 8.
Its fun for a little bit. The 99% win for horde in Asrhan, the 99% win for WG on defense. But im bored with GY camping players now. Ill just single que AV since im conquest capped.
The factions arenât to cowardly to kill the boss. Photonfevor said it right in regards to the horde. Once we get close enough to the base we kill the mage and end up pushing the keep but the alliance team will run out of resources before horde is able to get the boss.
Also the boss on Alliance side is difficult to pull. She is very far back on a very narrow road paved with elites and Alliance players. Horde boss is in a hut surrounded by elites but the path to the hut is open area. Alliance if they can push the bridge will have an easier time grabbing the boss.
Game developer wonât respond to this post?
was going to make a post about this until i seen this one, it is sickening how the games lead dev, who doesnât pvp (lifetime honor lvl 5) gives the edge to the Horde at every angle he can in bgs, between the free flower buffs at the Hordes doorstep to start the game and the mage knock back off the tower, this bg is big time in favor for the Horde, crap like this is unacceptable, years later and this Horde loving Ion refuses to have anything done about it.
Itâs not just Ion, Blizzard has always favored the Horde. From lore to PvP, Horde is the star.
The problem is that your average pug is not going to.
And itâs not even a concern when you do Rylai. Jeron can theoretically insta-gib you, and summons fire elementals. Rylai canâŚgive you food and turn people into sheep (when then heals them while active, anyways)?
We are ofcourse the superior faction
The secret is to tell the pugs that itâll lower their DPS. That drives pugs crazy and they go out of their way to avoid that.
this is kind of true, the best way for ally to deal with the knockback atm is to leave the majority of their raid at the base to block horde from entering the tower while your top few ST dps go in and kill the mage and play mechanics.
The best way for Alliance to deal with the knockback is to not even enter his tower. I have yet to see him killed and the effort to attempt to do so is rewarded with a heavy loss of resources and any momentum your team had prior to engaging him.
I donât think we really know if he plays much anymore. But if he did you can bet that he plays on a different toon, most likely on a different server. His old shaman Gurgthock just gets inspected, whispered etc, and he would never actually get a chance to chill and play the game.
Real life story: I used to cook in LA area, and another guy I went to school with ended up running a very prestigious restaurant in Anaheim. A few years ago, several of the devs came into the restaurant with a bunch of the AWC guys to âwine and dine themâ in the local cuisine.
My friend (Zack) told them all how he used to play WoW before chefâing eventually took all his free time. The WoW devs actually gave him free tickets to Blizzcon, asked him his btag and credited him with 13 years free playtime, and also offered to transfer his toons to their âchill but secret guildâ that the employees play, which is on a different server.
The blizz employees that still play have to keep it on the downlow, or they would never get any rest.
thereâs always a price for making a deal at the crossroads.
