Bags sorting incorrectly

Clean Up Bags button is sorting on this particular character’s bags backward. The rest of my characters have normal sorting from the top left (Hearthstones) down. This character’s bags are sorting backward starting from the bottom of the bag, but also in an odd order. My hearthstones are in the middle of random stuff and it takes some searching to locate them.

I have tested this on most of my characters. I have also tried disabling all addons to see if it was addon induced, it is not. I have also looked through the settings to see if you guys implemented a bag sort style/type/direction function that might have just been set wrong on one character, but there is no such setting built in to the game yet as far as I can tell.

So, seeing as how this is likely a bug, I felt that it’s my duty to report it - as trivial as it may seem. I am unable to attach a screenshot.

I am having the same issue with some of my alts. On some it sorts from the bottom right, others others it sort from the bottom right of the 1st bag I added to by backpack. I’ve tried the fix Blizzard supplied with no change. I’ve switch from ELvui bags, to Bagnon to Adibags to Arkinventory to no bags addon & using no addons but the problem remains.

has anyone found a fix to this? after yesterday’s patch, my bags started this as well- it fills from the backpack going backwards when i click the sort button. i don’t use any bag add ons and never had this issue until yesterday.

Ditto on this, this is happening to me now as well.

beaupeep found a blue post about it- you need to copy/paste this in chat on EVERY toon:

/run C_Container.SetSortBagsRightToLeft(false)
