so the bags we get in MOPRE do we get to keep them once the event is over or do we just get the booster bags?

I hope we get to keep them, those bags are awesome! They need to figure out how to expand the original backpack again though.

They’re not deleting bags. We’ll get 36 slots in War Within anyway.

We get upgraded bags every expansion. It’s called “tailoring.” You know… like all bags…
We’ve also already gotten 36 slot bags from events.

Not every expansion, but it’s pretty common to get a 2 slot bump for bags.
I know what happens when you assume, but I believe you carry everything over and your gear reverts to 415 at the end of the event.
36?? The rate of junk inflation is not keeping up with bag inflation at all. We should be at 75 slot bags by now.
I cant believe Blizz ever accepted “bank alts” as as the normal way to deal with all the crud we need to store.

They used to be called mules. On old PVP servers if you didn’t hide your mule character somewhere and he got caught out, you lost a lot of gear you were hoarding.
I remember in Asheron’s Call before they added secure trade, my buddy kept a bag of Lugian Hammers that weighed like 10000 lbs or some nonsense on his mule. Rendered him immobile. When he got caught up by a PK one day though he threw the bag onto the guy and booked. Dude didn’t realize what was going on and got mauled by a group of lowbies since he couldn’t move.
Anyway. We really should have more bank and bag space yeah.

I’m very sure I read the 36 slot bags will be converted to 20-something slot bags at the end of remix. I can’t find that sentence on wowhead or anywhere else at the moment tho. So hopefully they changed their minds?

I don’t see why not. Gold income seems relatively insignificant.
Your character will end it’s timewalking and youll keep what ever you currently have sans massive cloak buffs.
I’m genuinely curious what you’re holding onto that can’t go in the bank so you can keep your carry bags light. In my bags are:
- Quest items
- Consumables
- Currencies for what I’m currently working on
- Off spec gear.
How do some people not have enough space?

It’s the different currencies and stuff we farm up for professions that take up bag space.
If we didn’t have currencies that took bag space, I think we should be fine.
Shadowlands was the worst for currency to build up in bags, devs done a tad better this expansion, hopefully better next expansion.

I’m looking forward to not needing bank bags in War Within even if it’s not at launch.
“Finally, it’s worth mentioning that we would like to update the UI and functionality of the character-level bank to also use tabs like the Warband bank. While this won’t be done at the launch of The War Within, we are planning for it to come soon after. When this change occurs, bags will no longer be needed in the character bank. It’s intended that this change won’t alter the number of slots currently available in your bank. It will just shift those slots from bags to tabs.”
