Am I a baddie if I see someone clearing a camp to get to a chest and I just come along and zoink it and say ty and run off back into the wilderness?
Probably. As a rogue, as soon as I would see you go for the chest I’d just vanish and let them attack you. Then get the chest. >_>;

it’s meh. is it bad? imo yes. but either way the person that lost out on the chest will move on with their lives.
some things in life just aint the time of day, the effort, or the worry both in game and irl.
Not in this game buddy. This is where you get an undead rogue mage boosted to 60 and pop into some Naxx GDKPs with a few thousand gold you bought so you can corpse camp this smug motherless son of a… flip to gnome or dwarf if necessary.
Nope. I yoink chests every time I can. I will run up and hit the mining node while they’re mining it. I will tag their mob when their cast is already mid air. I will reply “lol” or just walk off and say nothing.

I’ve tagged rares and ran all the excess mobs into everyone else to deal with while I looted the cheese. I’m built different
