Bad stutter in populated areas after reset today

My frame rates remain constant however, movement both mine, and that of other players has a rather extreme stutter to it. It wasn’t doing this last night or anytime before. Any ideas?

Edit:
It’s happening in raid too really bad. For me at least the poor game performance in raid got much worse this week. :-\

I’ve yet to do any queued / instanced / Anniversary content, simply because this patch is already incredibly buggy in many different and seemingly unconnected ways. God forbid they roll out an at least somewhat finished product for once.

  • What I noticed straight away upon logging in is that in Dornogal, what you describe was happening to me. Very choppy / jumpy / laggy actions for my character as well as some “hop” from other players around me.
  • Also being “awarded” with titles Ive had for years everytime I log in to a character, and unable to change any titles.
  • Changes I make to talents and action bars are reset upon logging out and back in.
  • Guild mates report that a player in their Solo Shuffle queue disconnects mid-game, the game ends, they are hit with a deserter penalty and loss of rating despite they themselves not being the ones DC’d (also mentioned repeatedly on Arena forums).

This is NOT a “player’s system problem” my PC is MORE than up to the task of running this game very smoothly on very high settings. It’s probably better than the potato computers the devs work on. Why in the world can these junior level Mycomputercareerdotcom graduate devs not roll out something that resembles a finished product. Tired of paying to be an alpha and beta tester.

The new areas are crowded with players because there is a new event. As for the other issues, not sure. I completed most of the Anniversary achievements today without much issue, only a bit of lag the first hour or two around the event staging area.

It would appear the issue was being caused by all of the old quest reward off-class transmogs being indexed in the background.
