Its only till Monday. Chill. I’d rather have sharded Stormwind and just invite the people I wanna RP with to groups than deal with a super laggy mess.
Many people are even trying to RP fighting the Scourge, too.
They’re out of luck.
You won’t be able to even move your character on moonguard without sharding. People on your server were just complaining about that exact thing two weeks ago when they had no sharding.
The game lags out even when raiding Mythic Nighthold in a group of 10.
I, personally, think that some server infrastructure funding went to Bobby’s pocket book, but hey.

maybe but no sharding makes it far far worse. I have characters on Moonguard and certain times without sharding you literally can’t even turn in quests.
No they arent. I’ve had plenty of RP defending cathedral or lions rest against the scourge with randoms with sharding. You’re making it out to be bigger than it is.
The other solution is removing sharding and reintroducing the massive lag that the zombies/defenders suffer from. People are suffering from the sharding, I agree with you there, but the alternative makes the suffering far, far worse.

It was so bad there were so many zombies that they actually disappeared and NPCs were just exploding - and players.
That that was with sharding - imagine that without sharding and ten other players triggered the same scenerio.
It wouldn’t matter. It’d be only one shard of zombies. Now, you have like 3, 4, or 5 shards, so you’re increasing the main problem there multiplicatively.

I’ve been so bored, I’ve started experimenting. So, just for that, let’s make fun for the servers. These are things I have discovered.
- If you take a flight path, your infection stops ticking down. This does not work in Dalaran or Dazar’alor.
- Your zombies only attack things flagged for PVP or that attack them. Most cities are not a good place for this, however, large areas full of aggressive monsters that are flagged to attack threats - are good. Places like Light’s Hope Chapel or areas that you run to to save yourself from hostile NPCs because camp guards will attack them spread it like crazy.
- Capital cities are actually the worst for this because you have to attack things to spawn PVP-focusing mobs, as those mobs attack you and reduce your health the most.
- Booty Bay has a lot of level 30s.
