When setting Realtek Audio as the output sound in WOW Audio Settings, all I hear is a Low Garbled Scratchy Sound. When I select my Headset (Jabra) no sound is heard at all nor does the microphone work.
When using Realtek Audio with any other program e.g. media player, Spotify, browser videos etc., everything works perfectly.
I have re-installed wow as my final attempt to fix this, but it did not work.
Please help as playing with no audio really sucks!
I saw there was some sound/playback listed on the Known Issues post over on Bug Report, but I don’t know when the last time they updated that sheet before calling it for the night (if they even have. Devs are mysterious critters.)
I would suggest either editing your initial post and moving it over to Tech Support or creating a post there as well. While it may be a bug, I’m kind of feel like it’s more Tech Support than Bug? Though you could cross-post it in both places feasibly. Just to cover your bases.
