It started doing this yesterday for me, hadn’t played for a few days, so could be something new on this week’s reset … but it’s unplayable.
I’m not epileptic but it’s still nauseating to see the background constantly flash light and dark at a strobe rate (very quickly). I don’t need to see the background at all, couldn’t care less about it, so if there’s a setting that I can turn off so that it stops doing this please tell me.
It’s constant, happens when I’m standing still or moving, and stops only when I’m zoomed in close and there’s nothing at all that exists in the far background.

Can you try resetting the UI and test again to see if that clears it up?
If not, please post your DXDIAG so we can check that out.
- Press Windows Key + R.
- In the Run window type dxdiag and press Enter.
- In the DirectX window, click Save All Information.
- Name the file “dxdiag” and save it to your Desktop. Open the new dxdiag file with Notepad.
- In the posting section hit the </> button for “Preformatted text” then paste (Ctrl+V) the DXDIAG contents. That’ll make the information much more readable.
