Send your Imp for 20 minutes for what appears to be a 1/10 chance to get 1 of 4 items needed…
So this could take 10ish hours waiting around HOPING to get all 4 required items…
That’s assuming to can find Fel Tears that aren’t being camped by other warlocks…
Who in their right mind thought this was remotely a good idea???
I know someone who spent 500 gold on mage scrolls in order to get the 4 items, then charged an entire raid group 50 gold each as he ran it… ez 1k profit…
I’ve done 10 of these fel scars so far, not a single World Core Fragment. This rune is total BS.
garbage design on this rune encouraging gold buying/pay-to-win, seriously what a joke.
yeah let me send my imp into a portal, wait 20 minutes for nothing, repeat 10 times for still 0 out of 4 needed items LMFAO. Who signs on off on this stuff? I swear devs are able to design whatever they want for rune acquisition and just waste your time with 0 testing/feedback from devs or themselves.
They need to address this and fix the drop rate

There are so many things wrong with the World Fragments / Scrolls of Geomancy. Mages have to farm a ton of scrolls or waste a ton of gold buying them on the AH (haven’t checked prices today, but yesterday the high level scrolls you need were selling for 8-10g a pop. I farmed 15-20 of them myself and didn’t see a single Scroll of Geomancy).
Warlocks having an extremely time consuming / RNG process of sending pets into portals to come back with fragments.
On top of that, Paladins / Priests are entirely at the mercy of Mages / Warlocks, and can’t even interact with the crystals themselves, even though they both have runes that require it.
I was lucky enough to get 3 of the crystals for free from players that were generous with their fragments/scrolls, and then the last one for a 5g tip to the player with the item, but I regularly see people selling spots for 25-50g per person, sometimes higher.
This really needs to be revisited.

Fantastic game design when people just say F it.
Considering i made like 200 gold doing the nightmare leveling even after the nerf, the 50 gold to buy this rune form someone was a no brainer. The lack of testing is super obvious for phase 3.
I was lucky enough to get two of the needed items. Found another lock on the warlock discord who also had two. Off we went. Took 3 priests with us. Feel bad for those guys… can’t even do it without a mage or lock.
Not a great design tho, no. Especially for a rune that is clearly meta for any raiding.
Yeah, among other things, it’s killed P3 in the bud. People quitting left and right. This early? Unheard of. But is what it is. They need to just start PTRs for this. The discovery thing was a nice dream. But game killing bugs are not a worthy trade off.
I did it in a PuG Raid of mostly Locks with a few Priests and a Mage.
With so many Imps we got the items pretty fast. The time sink was just traveling as a Raid from Shard to Shard.
Cannot upvote this enough. The droprate for these items is ridiculous
This rune is disgusting. Have you fellow locks even received the item from the portals? Even just 1? I have yet to see or hear from a warlock who has gotten one from their imp. Anyone who has triggered the leyline event has been a mage.
