I was looking for a simple report from Blizzard showing a decline in their subscriptions or something like that.
Group finder UI is what I miss the most whenever I play classic.
The issues I had with group finder over time were it being cross realm and teleporting you to the dungeon. The actual finding of a group, though? Awesome.
For me classic is way more appealing, my wife keeps dragging me back to retail every evening to help her do voldune dailies and its mostly pure torture but in a ‘walking on hot coals’ sort of way, the less attention you pay to it the less it hurts…in theory.
Dont get me wrong theres a lot of aspects of retail I like, just not the actual game - im hoping whatever comes after bfa will step far (far far far) away from the mistakes made in BFA.
Do I count? I’m playing classic for a multitude of reasons, but there is no denying that raiding is harder on retail.
I love speed running classic(was #1 for a week or so), but it’s no where near the skill level needed for top 5 mythic kills on retail.

They haven’t gone off subs in a very long time… Due to having microtransactions and account services, you look at their revenue that they report to companies like Nielsen and that they have to post quarterly due to being a public company. Granted, yes, this does include other titles of theirs, WoW is the only one with a subscription cost, so it’s safe to say it’s a good chunk of their income. Even if WoW were down to 1mil subs worldwide, it would still make up the majority of their income.
I was mostly joking. I really don’t care how much money Blizzard makes or if they are losing money. It amuses me that people actually do…
you have queue in classic that cause the removed layering. You don’t have more players. Your population got reduced.

Where in my posts did I say anything about Classic being more difficult than retail?
The global LFG chat only works if you are a tank. Otherwise have fun spamming for 3 hours before you give up and level an alt.
I like Classic, I’m still playing, but really, finding groups is a legitimate problem.
The Retail kids are already selling runs on their Classic tanks it’s that bad.

Look for those, they may help you out. I’d spell the first one out more, but I fear father Blizzards recourse.
