I may be alone here, but I would love to see Ironforge play a role in future expansions and content updates. I played classic but its not the same. Some of the original areas I am definitely feeling nostalgic for.

I agree with you and I would also like earliest version of ironforge from alpha to be some sort of visitable location in-game, such a cool thing to be inside a mountain. Also Stormwind Vault

I’ve been saying for years that Iron Forge and Thunder Bluff should have all the portals and QOL features that SW and Org has.

I just portal into Exodar. Objectivly best city.
Who’s right there? Oh, my pal Oss for vendoring junk and alliance faction discount repairs right at the portal. Mount immediately (you’re not inside of a huge tower) and a step to your left takes you to the bank. On the right is the AH.

man…I havent been to IF in forever. Yeah, they should do something new centered around it…that’d be cool.
Ironforge is my favorite still. I’d like to see it scaled up a bit. Revamped somewhat, but i agree. It’d be nice to see have it be active again.

I get real nostalgic when I visit iron forge or shat. I don’t really feel that in Dalaran. Might be Legion’s fault.

I told my wife that when I first started playing WoW Ironforge was THE main hub for alliance and the only place that had an auction house. She didn’t believe me. It would be cool to see some traffic there again. I zipped through for old times sake last week and it was a ghost town. They need to put some portals there or something. I think that’d help a bit. Right now there’s really no reason to go there because virtually every portal to anywhere is in Stormwind.

Lately I only ever go to IF during Winterveil
I think Winterveil and Brew Fest are about the only 2 reasons TO go right now.
I remember someone suggesting making BG’s of the capital cities for PvP maps a while back. Still think it would be cool to see.
Its a great capital city and the surrounding area like Lock Modan, to Blackrock mountian and Gnomeregan–all great. I like Ironforge better than Stormwind as an Alliance capital city.
I also like how the flight eagle goes thru blocks cut out of the interior ring to the exterior gate. Genius.
