Started wow in legion as a feral druid. I don’t remember a lot besides doing dungeons and people being surprised to see a feral. Don’t even remember if it was M+ or if that even existed back then. I played like 6 months or so and never got the legendary that was BiS by far…and there was nothing I could do about it. That felt really bad. I quit as soon as I got something like my 5th crappy legendary as I knew that reset the bad luck protection.
Played a couple months of classic as a mage. Got to 60, ran MC several times, got bored with rotation and not getting gear so I quit.
I came back Shadowlands season 2. Played mostly m+ as a resto shaman and resto druid. Had a lot of fun. About a week into season 3 I quit because I really didn’t want to have to learn 8 new dungeons.
Came back something like 5-6 weeks ago toward the end of TWW season 1. Played m+ as a resto druid and mage. Was very difficult trying to learn the dungeons when everyone was already super comfortable with them. I was excited by a new rotation of dungeons where I wasn’t so far behind everyone else in terms of knowledge. I’m currently playing a resto druid, have done a couple 10s…some moderately difficult, some super insanely difficult…really depends on the group and dungeon since I’m 641ish ilvl without tier and am not super over gearing it.

Yeah for me as a healer…l. I healed as Shammy prior to what you say, it was a shizshow. That’s why I went full bear.

Started WoW shortly after the Make Love Not Warcraft episode of South Park aired. Made a BM NElf Hunter on a normal East US server. I played on and off for 6 years until I finally quit around the time of Mists being announced. I spent my entire time questing, engineering, and generally faffing about as I was just a kid for most of that time.
Came back in late Dragonflight but didn’t last long as I had no one to play with and was very involved in another MMO. Came back again in late S1 TWW because a friend got it for me. In my first return I tried Hunter again but didn’t like it. Always wanted to be a Gnome Mage so here I am today.

It’s funny to think back to legion and what a different time it was. I no-life’d the game for several months and had no access to my BiS legendary that was a massive DPS boost…that absolutely would not fly today…and it’s almost the only thing I remember about my time playing wow then.

I don’t like to dwell too often or dream of better times but hopefully this post attracts the people of like mind and if anybody here is looking for a generally up beat player I believe I play above average but not trying to sweat it out 24/7 and I do love my PvP if any of that hits home with you please please please add me I don’t mind playing any version of wow except SoD the balancing seems really realllly bad and that’ll bum me out
I’ll accept any and all friend requests just need and want to stop playing alone all the time

Hero classes have always been a bit overtuned on the expansions they released in… and… uh wha?
Worgen class??? What worgen class??? Has there been some secret hidden hero class available only to Worgen since a Cataclysm that none of us ever knew about?
