crack open a tall can of barq’s with a large bag of combos, open my winamp playlist I made for mining/herbing, turn the tv to adult swim for some late night inuyasha and trigun returns and spend midnight to dawn gathering until I pass out.

I don’t miss those days.

I still remember the day in 1974 when the corner store started charging two cents for Bazooka Joe bubble gum instead of a penny. This was a serious blow to my 2nd-grade budget.

Back in my day, my childhood friends dissuaded me from playing vanilla WoW at all because it wasn’t “real warcraft” so we went back to playing multiplayer matches in Warcraft 3.

Dad gives me a 5.
“Go get smokes, 6 pack, and a candy you want. Bring me the change.”
Get all Dad’s stuff and a POCKET FULL of candy… and there’s change to give back.

Was really fun when big enough to drive. Not old enough, big enough… old dodge pickup, pack of cigarettes on the dash with a 6 pack next to me, and the cops just wave as I go by… think the first time I was about 8-10ish lol

Back in my day your Hunter pet was an investment. You had to train, level and feed it. I really miss this.

You needed reagents like Maple Seed to rez, which is why there are still reagent vendors all over who seem useless now.

Thunder Bluff only had ONE* mailbox! Oops…

*One mailbox in major cities will be funny for a bit.

I like that I can level my guys through an entire expansion like Cataclysm by mining and herbing. I don’t think I did any quests in any of the zones or dungeons until well into Warlords.

I remember when herbs didn’t “glow” or have outlines and sungrass being nearly invisible lol. I do not miss that at all.
