Claudia also plays the Shadows in One Scene(https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CJLKtXxnGr4&t=194s
). The Shadows act in the exact same manner that Xal’atath was during the Cutscenes we’ve seen her in.
Of course with Beledar switching from Void Form to Light form the second Alleria says “Enough of your illusions Xal’atath!” and the fact that Il’gynoth mentions a blind queen which suspiciously matches the guise used by the Vorlon in the above scene we may get Xal’atath playing both the Vorlons/Light and the Shadows.
And yes that would mean her disguise will be blown wide open by the Lorien Character!
Babylon 5 is my #1 space show, hands down.
JMS made an incredibly ambitious show with a crafted, consistent narrative that wrote in “trap doors” for each character should an actor not pan out or want to leave. It gets better with every rewatch (I’m on #20+).
Season 1 is wonderful establishment, but a little more crisis of the week, Seasons 2-4 follows excellent plotlines with a surprisingly small number of filler episodes—though some episodes’ importance isn’t clear the first time through—and Season 5 does very well considering the fact that JMS didn’t get the greenlight for it until way too late, but it is the weakest of the 5 imo.
But with how people are talking about DS9 in this thread, I’m definitely going to have to give it a try.
