Babelfish addon

Remember the old addon that allowed you to communicate with opposing faction? This will be banned, right?

Was it really called Babelfish?

That’s such a dumb name.

I think this would get the user banned.

Yes it broke ToS but it was still used among pvpers in vanilla.

I don’t think they banned it, they just changed the way the gibberish translated so it wasn’t as predictable.

It’s not even possible because most letters produce the same gibberish. This isn’t a logical encryption you can break. It’s literally gibberish.

Kek was my favorite

I remember it being extremely accurate in vanilla.

The name of the Hitchhiker Guide to the Galaxy’s translator.

The Babel fish is a small, bright yellow fish, which can be placed in someone’s ear in order for them to be able to hear any language translated into their first language. Ford Prefect puts one in Arthur Dent’s ear at the beginning of the story so that he can hear the Vogonspeech.

Can’t include links, you’ll have to google it.

You haven’t read Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy? You need to stop what you’re doing right now, and get to any bookstore on this mostly harmless planet.

Ah, c’mon Patchs!

I’ve hit ‘Like’ on like half a dozen of your posts lately because you’ve been a voice of pleasant objectivity and thought to the tidal wave of ‘blaaarrggghLFGllllaarrrgggh’ that’s been going on.

I feel slightly sad that you haven’t read the Hitchhiker’s series. (But keep up the good posts.)

Yep, I remember it being the same. Babelfish translation worked in plain English like regular chat with horde/alliance, just in red lettering.
