Quick question. I think I’m asking all the wrong questions on the Internet to figure this out.
Got my hunter that wants to tame a pet in Azuremyst isle. I auto leveled her & went through everything in BFA.
Finally figured out I can’t get there by swimming despite using a potion. After some research figured I’d have to use Chromie, but she’s not in Stormwind Embassy or anywhere I’ve looked.
Any help on this would be appreciated. Thanks
PS - asked on GD too, but no bites yet
You travel to Azuremyst via boat in Auberdine, Darkshore. Zidormi is located around 48,24 in the BFA phase of Darkshore, who will return you to the pre-BFA Darkshore.

Thank you! Best, concise, & informative answer
Auberdine was destroyed in the Cataclysm and the dock is torn apart so there is no boat there. You do have to talk to Zidormi though if you are in the BfA Darkshore phase with Teldrassil destroyed so you can go back to the pre-destruction phase.
To get to Azuremyst, you can either take the portal to the Exodar in the Stormwind portal room or you can go down to the Stormwind docks. When you get to the docks, you take the southernmost dock which used to have a boat going to Teldrassil. Now there is a portal there that goes to either the end of the dock that once had a boat to Azuremyst Isle or to the shore in Darkshore west of Lor’danel (if you are in the BfA Darkshore phase). When you reach the dock in Rut’theran Village, you can just turn around and you will find a portal that will take you to the dock on Azuremyst Isle as long as you are on the westernmost dock in Rut’theran Village.

Thanks guys. Got to Azuremyst Isle easily through Exodar portal in Stormwind. Literally drops you off right there.
It’s been so many years I really did forget; knew it was something silly I was missing.
Got The Kurken - suddenly remembered needing my daughter-in-law to tame it waaay back on my first hunter. It was easy, but really satisfying. So thank you!
