Azure vault was a mistake

There is not a single redeemable aspect of this dungeon, it’s all horrendously designed and terrible to play. At least Nokhud is good visually, but honestly most of the cata dungeons from 13 years ago look better than AV does.

It does take a while to clear the whole thing.

I ran a +11 yesterday and the tank HAD to have bought his rating (even tho it was below 2000) because he PURPOSELY pulled the little drakes that summon the big mobs. And he kept doing it over and over. Worst experience ever, don’t even feel bad about bricking the key less than 5 min in.

EDIT: Please stop replying with “it’s a valid strat” I know. But this guy clearly did not have enough experience tanking to do it correctly.

The new meta strat is to clear those mobs so you can skip most of the middle two rings later.

Ironically you named my 2 favorites. Sure they have some hard points but overall I like them.

Most of which can be avoided if you listen to Sindragosa at the start.

The mobs the drakes summon is some of the only efficient count in the entire place. It isn’t necessarily something id pull in an 11 though.

How can I do this? I’m asking because I’d like to try.

Last time I tried to skip rings I just killed myself.

There’s also those “jump skips”, which help avoid a load of them, but there’s a risk of death without glide.

You have to cancel the fall damage. Hunters can disengage or you can use a slow fall potion

For me it’s the random spells from book teleports, mobs with excessive and constant AoE’s they drop on themselves, and the last boss.

Snare for moving with adds you have to run to and another mechanic that chases you.

It is actually a good dungeon. If anything, the % needs a nerf considering it is entirely possible to skip a ton of stuff and that kind of gameplay should be encouraged (not the degenerate ring skips but not awakening the trash and stealhing past rooms).

Obnoxious boss design. Trash is fine.

Controversial opinion maybe but I don’t think every pack of trash should have 5 mechanics that need to be avoided/stopped.

Nobody stealths anything. You just jump down from ledges rather than using the book transports.

This sounds like it’s going to be one of those pug killing skips.

Always some tank that thinks they’re being clever and good with the latest, greatest, new and unnecessarily complicated MDI skip to save 30 seconds that ends up costing about 10 minutes in failed attempts to perform it and then having to eventually kill it when someone dies after the skip and gets stuck behind it.
