I knew the second I saw your title that it was about the lag :joy: who knows but I hope it gets better!

I mean the other day it was lag free for me, although I imagine I must of been on a shard with little to no people. I have a feeling once the raid and keys have been out for a week a lot of the lag will end. As the only reason people are even in the zone are for the rares, cobalt assembly, and the feast, all of which will become obsolete once people start pushing heroic and level 10+ keys.

Blizzard decided the lag issues from Drustvar should be included as a feature and chose Azure Span to continue the tradition.

I really do wish they address this though, that zone is horrible.

I think that’s just because the zone is so big. It’s four times as big as elwynn forest.

If you’re sharing a shard with a lot of other players, it’s bound to be laggy.

they decided to plop a community feast, a giant rep grind , and a pvp arena with dozens of power ups.

amateur mistake

I came here to ask the same thing. Azure Span is practically unplayable right now- that is unless of course you love 2-5 second delays in spellcasting. I am having to try and fight only single mobs on my mage alt and avoid rares because I will die due to the lag.

This many years making this game Blizz and you still cannot get it right… you put that much desired preraid /pre mythic content into ONE zone and you are asking for trouble.

I completed the first two zones entirely. Every single quest was read, completed, and thoroughly enjoyed. That was the most fun I’ve had in WoW in questing in a long time. The process got me to 69. I am now miserable in Azure Span. As a shadow priest, it’s especially crippling because of the lag associated with having to apply dots and then use channeled spells. This is beyond frustrating and I have officially hit a brick wall.

I was hoping it was about the aesthetics and music. I think it’s my favorite zone so far! I think there is still another zone after it?

What a terrible zone this is. no, not the story or zone design, but the technical side is what makes it a bad zone.

Hard to enjoy the aesthetics and music when you are struggling to get even the most menial tasks complete.

I love my home, and I love how it is decorated, but if I had someone coming in and abusing me daily, I would not ever want to be home.

I wonder if FF ever lags.

Seems like on high-full servers Azure span is phased so badly that you’ll never see another player there but there is no lag (can only speak for the experience on mooonguard a full server)

Smaller servers where they haven’t used aggressive phasing get to see other players but they lag to heck.

Definitely a “pick your poison” situation.

Sorry your zone is lagging. Mine is lag free, even during the massive cooking events. I hope this is fixed for you soon!

well its weird, some days its lag free for a couple hours, and then all of a sudden its unbearable.

just make the zone relam locked for that realm only

That. And looting mobs for quest items also. Click on the quest item there is a weird delay before it finally appears in bag. That zone is borked. My guess it is to overcrowded, because of stupid cross realm zoning, and causing mass latency in the zone. Time to dial back the crz, sharding whatever in that zone imo.
