Azshara, but no Tyrande?

We have only seen so little of Tyrande’s Night Warrior. Getting a couple of quests and then a Warfront. That is all we get from the new powerful Night Warrior arc. I thought we would acutally see Tyrande facing Azshara at least.

What do you think about the plans of having Azshara, but not Tyrande in the next update?

Isn’t it ironnic? Dontcha think?

Maybe they’re like too divas: they don’t want to share the same spotlight.

Maybe a little.

What? Have a historically plot-related character interact with Azshara? You’re asking for too much!

I can say that I’m not at all pleased with their response on this. Just prolonging my burn-out vacation from the game.

So shandris doesnt count lol
Nelf fans : can you use shandris more

Also nelf fans :What! screw shandris, wheres tyrande.

Shandris does, but this is a question of where Tyrande does or doesn’t fit in the equation. The inclusion of Tyrande isn’t going to suddenly make Shandris invisible. It’s not like the OP asked why Shandris is there, therefore, my reply isn’t about Shandris.

It is a bit odd that a major NE lore character will not be present to fight against their former queen but that said, it sort of makes sense. A story line based around what is probably the strongest magic user in Azeroth facing the most powerful magic users of both factions.

I hope that the writers are not done with the NE story line, there is so much left untold and it would be a huge waste not to revisit and give the NEs a good story line ending to their struggles.

Shandris is there cause tyrande is busy fighting in kalimdor, you know to take back there lands.

Well, I was never one of those people that said anything about Shandris. So, I was talking about Tyrande and Malfurion. It just seems they dropped off the face of Azeroth. What I am wanting is progression in “The Night Warrior.”

Yes, in an inadequate neverending cycle of changing hands. Great sense of vengeance there. Does a lot to make players feel like it’s worth something when it’s in a void of its own.

And 8.2 isnt about the night warrior its about azshara, start complaining if they dotn show up during the sylvanas cilmax

That is what I am asking for. The Night Warrior is very new, and I just want more story lines on it, or something more about the Night Elves, since they lost their home. The same can be applied to the Forsaken, but they are still getting stuff.

Myself in another thread. Also, from what I’ve seen in the data mining is that Azshara’s palace is stumbled upon and dealt with by the group that stumbles upon it. Even if Tyrande would be willing to leave her fight in Darkshore, she probably would arrive after the raid.

True, I just talking about Tyrande, the Night Warrior. There is so much we do not know about the Night Warrior. What are the consequences of her turning herself into the Night Warrior? What does it actually give her? Where will it lead to? There needs to be more stuff for the NE.

The problem is that WoW’s history is littered with abandoned plots. So people are preemptively complaining with good reason.

Yeah, but I am expecting more. They give us so little and still call it an expansion. It seems we are getting little stories, but after that it stops. They give nothing more. I just do not want stuff to end without it being finished. They could still add stuff to further it in 8.2.

This topic is on here way too much.

Queen Azshara is Nightborn not night elf (yes night elves are descendants but not the same). Tyrande has nothing to do with this.

If you play Horde PTR Thylissra is so distraught as she sees so many of her people turned to Naga.

Malfurion stated in Legion he felt uncomfortable in Suramar as it’s not their people.

That would probably be it, but I do not think we actually defeat Azshara. I think she helps escape or something.

Tyrande fought Queen Azshara 10,000 years ago. They have a very long history together.
