For those that didn’t know, Azeroth has two moons. However, during during patch 1.10 when weather effects were added to the game, one of the moons disappeared and didn’t reemerge until MoP. There wasn’t any explanation as to why it disappeared, because Azeroth does have two moons in lore. People speculated it was a graphical/technical bug.
Is anyone aware if the second moon was present in the demo? I tried searching here and reddit, but no luck in getting an answer.
I played the demo and didn’t see the moon but the weather effects weren’t fully implemented so I guess we will have to wait and see
I’d really appreciate it if we get the smaller blue moon back in the skybox. I felt like it really added to the immersion and fantasy, looking up at the sky and knowing you were on a new world with a different kind of cosmogony than our own.
I like it when these games have little interesting things in them, it really helps the immersion. I love to stop and smell the roses, or the fires of battle, what ever is the around the next bend lol.
