Yeah… You do you.
I am not the in game lore books. They say what they say, regardless of whether I was here or not. They do themselves. Not me doing me. The end.
I don’t know why you felt the need to get passive aggressive when I wasn’t even talking to you, but okay. I literally phrased Xe’ra as a separate instance, and never stated it was indicative of the Light as a whole. I did say that it, combined with the Lightbound murder mission, which you conveniently didn’t mention, did point towards the Light not being as benevolent as we first assumed.
I am well aware of Lothraxion and his game involvement, but that doesn’t change the fact that Xe’ra made her own decisions.
Respectfully, it is evidence. You don’t get to say it isn’t there just because it doesn’t fit with your narrative. Between the entirety of the Dragonflight Plot, the lore books stating that the dragons were being made compliant via order magic in their water, and even the Aspects acknowledging that what they did to dragonkind was unforgivable, it’s very clear where the narrative is heading.
Beyond that, the Earthen just decided to break their edicts, and a giant Titan robot attempted to annihilate them for noncompliance. And now you have the newly awakened Earthen coming out of the Awakening Machine stronger, with more “anomalies” that indicate free will, and Azeroth’s blessing directly on them.
All of this, as well as Blizzard themselves indicating that the Titans will be dealt with in The Last Titan, points towards them becoming antagonists as we, and Azeroth, continue to defy their Order.
It absolutely and undeniably “does” mean that Xe’ra did not make her own decisions.
There is no “it” there… literally, there is no evidence of the world soul inside Azeroth working against Order. None. Zip. Zilch. Nada.
The lore books do “NOT” say any such thing. You need to read them again. Tyr was cleansing away the corruption from Yogg-Saron which had gotten into the water.
No such thing happened. The Earthen had been deciding to break the edicts for many thousands of years…the robot from offshore of the Island never took any notice. It specifically “ONLY” took action when the Earthen machines were destroyed.
It has become clear that you are misleading others and trying to substitute your own head canon in place of what the writers are actually showing. Chris Metzen “NEVER” said that the Titans are villains. Not once.
Azeroth is Indominability incarnate.
Make sense if you look at the stubbornness of its creations.
Well she was originally described as the most powerful world soul. I think it’s more than possible that she would be fighting back.
Because they lied about what they are actually doing. Which is manipulation… Big brain stuff I know.
The cope from certain posters about whether the Titan’s actions are purposefully being scrutinized in the narrative is pretty funny. There is a clear implication that at least some of them will be presented as villains
Guys, Blizzard is pretty clearly setting up the ‘order above all else’ glss as at least somewhat villainous. What with all the Titan constructs slipping out of their grasp with the help of Azeroth herself. And the constant lines about the importance of balance and rejection of dogma in favor of free will. At best the Titans are abusive and distant parents to the Earthen and Dragons, at worst enslavers and manipulators.
I feel like they’re hitting me over the head with it tbh, folks are letting their preconceived notions about what the narrative ought to be get in the way of analyzing what Blizzard is blatantly cooking.
