The new azerothian quests are bugged. The hands on experience quest doesnt spawn the water circles to cool down the bar to stop overheating, the bar doesnt appear, the bar on the chest resets constantly.
Have tried relogging. Turning off all addons, repairing the game. Still bugged

I’ve managed to get past the first chest, as glitchy as that was, and am now in the Ohn’ahran Plains trying to get the quest by the river. But the mud despawns as soon as the totem is placed, or you moved, and your totem keeps despawning randomly when it’s replaced. No mud to balance the water totem. Logging out and back in does nothing to fix it. Constant lag. Unplayable.

“Your First Find”
is definitely bugged like crazy. Have had it in the gold multiple times even though water seems to jump it to the max with one splash and the thing never changes from 0%.
I can’t even get the questline to start. I got the introductory quest completed (flagged as true), but the quest givers after don’t have any quests available.
This patch feels unpolished.

Bugs further down the line, too. Hidden in the Midden in Zaralek has the same problem of only one person being able to do it at a time. I couldn’t even get past the first couple quests on the PTR, and it’s barely better now on live. Incredibly frustrating.

This is the experience Im having too. Its frustrating, awful, confusing, and not fun.

the fact only one person can seemingly do each major dig at a time and anyone else starting the dig kills their progress is a disaster. if it was designed this way that person needs demoting, if its a bug it needs fixing ASAP. its not like there was a PTR to try it out on. bloody absurd.

So wait, this mess was happening on the PTR and they still went live with it? I finally got through it by waiting until there was no-one around each dig, and having to fly out and back in again to get items to spawn …
And at the end all the npc’s are in a nice circle around me and the rep vendor will no longer … err… vend. What an horrendous mess.

I agree, more than any other in DF. It starts with poor direction for the new quests. I did not even know these quests existed for about six hours–after I’d found out where the group event was and joined it. Then the questline, as shown by other posts here, is extremely buggy and laggy. I also missed the epilogue questline at first because it wasn’t a campaign quest and I thought it was a quest I wanted to ignore. I don’t understand why these things were not caught in PTR.

In Zaralek Cavern, I opened up the searching WQ with the googles and the first WQ I got I can’t get more than 67% complete.
I have searched all the marked area and there is no third treasure to find.
I can’t do Restweed. It gave me one and then decided the other 5 didn’t exist.

I can’t even finish the “your first find” quest. The bar everyone says I should be seeing never shows up. I’ve checked my UI settings, ny add ons, i’ve abandoned the quest and picked it back up, i’ve logged out and logged back in, i’ve left the quest area and travelled back, everything I can think of. It just will not appear at all.
If this is the future of archaelogy, I’d rather they left it be.

This is my experience as well. I’ve disabled all add-ons, reloaded, relogged, repeatedly dropped and re-accepted the quest. No joy.
Yeah I’m stuck on 33% on that one, and 67% on the other one.
They should have put this patch on the PTR first, because it’s really broken. A whole group of people standing around trying to figure out how to progress the broken “Your First Find” quest.
It was put on the PTR. Blizzard fired their QA years ago. We are the QA now.
