And, by patch notes, I mean not fixes on the beta build, but the final 1.12.1 to 1.13.2 patch notes. All that’s been intentionally made different from 1.12.1 to 1.13.2. We know that Classic is based on 1.12, but it is important to know what exactly is 1.12, and what has been made progressive.
Including the less-obvious changes:
- Temporarily removed the Elemental Invasion events (or not?)
- Temporarily removed some quests in the Light’s Hope Chapel (or not?)
- Increased group size limit for dungeons (or not?)
- Temporarily removed keyring (or not?)
and other progressive changes we are not aware of.

The keyring wasn’t removed until somewhere around Cata or MoP I think. If they are thinking about removing it again I’m going to cry because darnit! I earned those keys!!

The keyring was added at some patch, so they could make it progressive.

why would they increase group size limits for dungeons ?
Patch 1.11. I looked it up just make sure I wasn’t remembering wrong. It should show up in Classic based on that info but your guess is as good as mine.

They reduced it to 5 at some patch, didn’t they?
Since when has Blizzard documented everything. It’d be nice, but they probably only document the biggest, most obvious changes.
Since the closed beta in 2003
Uhm. No. They haven’t. Not even close. I don’t know how well you knew your class but for mages alone, they ninja nerfed instances and our class directly. Like I said, they only documented the biggest most obvious changes.

if they did it was long before 1.12 cause when I started playing in Feb 2006 it was 5.
Druid. Every change was big and documented.
before patch 1.3 all dungeons were 10 man, including low level ones such as deadmines.
Actually all dungi’s had 0 cap till Diremaul then they got rid of that and now it’s a forced 10 till i think WOTLK.
It was Pre patch of Wotlk for Vanilla dungi’s or 2.4.3? Maybe 2.3
I feel like for this game and how much the community knows they need to be detailed. There’s a lot of speculation being thrown around but nothing definitive from blizzard. I think before launch, even if its a day or 2, they should list everything they changed.
Ie: no thorium point quests till phase __
The fps that existed at the end of vanilla will exist even if the quests at that hub aren’t in yet.
Just as a few examples. ( people seem to think that the thorium point quests not being in means no npcs or fp either.)
