so the addon I use to track azerite traits has Shrouded Suffocation weighted really low, like 0.9. Is there something I missed? I thought this was one of the top 3 assas rogue traits up there next to twist the knife and double dose. Anyone care to explain? Traits that seem way worse than me (forget name but a stacking mastery buff are weighted like 4.6)
Your addon is wrong. Shrouded Suffocation is the meta talent currently for all forms of content. You’ll see a TTK/DD over-represented in pure single target raid parses, but interspersed with several single target parses running 2x+ Shroud. For anything cleave and AoE next to the FoK azerite, Shroud is king.
Shroud also works very well with Nothing Personal stacking (the single target Azerite) due to the alignment of Vanish and Vendetta.

Ok that’s kinda what I thought but I wasn’t sure if it got nerfed or something. One question. How is shroud good for aoe? Vanish is only once every 2 mins
It’s amazing for aoe
As long as you’re getting into stealth between pulls you’ll smash the meters and mobs
Shroud is good because when you start fights, in conjunction with Subterfuge talent, you can Garrote/Rupture 3 mobs quickly, and have plenty of energy for FoK spam. Or you vanish and apply, then FoK.

Ok so is the trait that buffs FoK also good? It seemed good to me but this dumb add on has it ranked low. I guess the addon only takes single target into consideration or it’s just broken
Unfortunately I have a add-on for Outlaw that I primarily only consider for raids because of single Target.
The add-on doesn’t always take cleave or AOE damage into consideration
