Azerite traits or item level?

I have been earning way better loot then my current set of 390 azerite gear. I gotten a 410, 405 and 400 to replace them. The problem is, none of my new pieces have the azerite traits I need. As a BM hunter, I rely on the Primal Instincts trait and the Haze of Rage trait for PvP. My current set has all of those while the new ones, despite the increase of item lvl, have only 1 of these mandatory traits.

What would be the better choice for my power? Using my current gear with the better traits, or the new gear for the item level? Thanks.

You’re better off targeting higher ilevel Azerite pieces with the traits you’re looking for.

Unfortunately I only really know the PvE side of things for BM Hunters, so I can’t really say if your new pieces might have traits which outperform your current ones in PvP.
