This! I created two equipment configurations. One for questing, one for turning in quests.
Don’t worry op. Pretty sure they will find a way to gimp them next expansion to lol.
It’s still better to use heirlooms for leveling. The Azerite traits on your early gear is not enough to forgo the experience boost while leveling.
And really, do you need azerite traits for levelling? I’d rather be at 120 as quickly as possible, get some Benthic gear and boom you have arrived.
I don’t bother using looms after 100
they might be ok in legion now, but they for sure are underpowered for current content
But things die much slower, causing questing to take longer. Use equipment manager to swap to heirlooms for quest turn ins, that way all you’re missing out on is xp for killing mobs.
They don’t die all that much slower or at least not not enough to bother me.
You do make a good point with changing for quest turn-ins although I personally find that the mobs contribute a good chunk toward the XP for levels. How much exactly I do not know.
leveling takes a couple of hours,…
never had a problem with looms.
I wouldn’t worry too much about this.
The leveling squish is going to break everything anyways, so may as well wait until how 8.3.5/9.0 plays out.
Otherwise they would just fix it and it would break again in like 6 to 8 months.
Well, I’ve figured it all out. Pet battles! I can’t stand them but I can use the full leveling power of my looms without fighting any mobs and worrying about being squishy. It’s insanely fast leveling.
