I’m very annoyed that they gave us an Azerite Armor system then made it very expensive to play different specs and try out all the different traits. Why do I have to pay 10k just to reroll something right now because I wanted to test sub and outlaw a lot today?
I know people have zillions of gold on this game, but as someone who started in Legion and doesn’t really care to make gold… this is not a good incentive to make gold. It’s an annoying incentive that feels like a total waste. I even accidentally hit the wrong trait one of the rerolls today, then lmao it doubles. It’s such a bad system that we didn’t have with tier armor, why can’t we pay order resources or something else to reroll traits? I already have to make gold for consumables and alts, this is just crap.
I have been enjoying this expansion a lot… but this on top of the lag in warmode and the bugs… If I was going to unsubscribe this stupid azerite armor rerolling cost would probably be at the top lmao. Now everyone make fun of me.
sadly getting the absolute best traits possible for playing some PVP on the different specs can be on similar pieces. It’d be nice to get doubles, but with the new residuum system and M+ no longer being spammable for Azerite Armor… kind of annoying lol. Would be awesome to have a couple doubles of the M+ pieces I’ve gotten.
Because you’re fickle and lack self control? In order for the cost to get that much, especially after it was reset with the new patch, it means you’re rerolling more then average. This is a you problem. Go get more pieces of gear and you won’t have to worry about reforging costs.
you chump i dont have time to play 50 hours a week, i like to tank heal and DPS on my druid on the weekends, arena dps RBG tank and heal thats 2-3 in one night, i just failed a 3+ dungeon because my teamates randomly pissed each other off and everyone left. I DONT HAVE TIME TO GET 3 SETS OF 380 PLUS GEAR, I GOT LIKE 10K GOLD TO MY NAME
What’s the actual point though? Why shouldn’t OP be able to customise their gear to suit what they’re doing as they see fit?
“But you’ve had to carry multiple sets in le past”
Coolio, so we shouldn’t change anything because that’s how it’s always been done? WoW would be terrible by most standards now if that were the approach taken
Fact is that we have a system in place that could alleviate that and allow more player freedom when it comes to the Azerite slots…yet for whatever reason Blizz have decided to arbitrarily gut that flexibility because…why exactly?
I agree. There is NO REASON why it costs gold to choose a new trait and why you have to go to a NPC to reset the piece. You should be able to change traits on the fly.
The reason is simple. Blizzard doesn’t want you using the same set of gear for multiple roles. If you don’t like that, you can complain but they’ve made it pretty clear that’s how it is staying.
the fact that people necroe’d this topic AND in the next patch I get my way is just sad and rewarding but also screw you guys IM GOING HOME
thats just dumb tho. Why cant I swap between outlaw, sin, and sub with the best gear I have for all of them? Welp lets buy multiple specific azerite pieces from the vendor because that’s REALLY a good use of residuum. LOL
I know you said you started in Legion but this brand of crazy has been in WoW since the very beginning. Back in vanilla you couldn’t change specs without paying for it. It also scaled up in price and fell off after so long (I wanna say a month).
Then dual specs came out and you could pay a lump sum to be able to change between 2 builds. Then eventually to the way it is now. Reforging was a thing in Cata/Mists, where you could pay to change stats on your armor to something else with limited options. Now it’s azerite gear
Blizzard would hold onto more subs if they would just stop adding stupid ways to drain gold from the economy. Expensive mounts are fine, but stupid high reforging costs are not. I want to min-max three different specs, but it takes a long time to make the changes due to stupid reforge costs.
Azerite armor itself is weird and poorly imagined.
In fact I would say that it wasn’t even imagined but a lazy copy pasted version of Netherlight Crucible. You know, the one feature in Legion people didn’t care about or didn’t like that much.
I’m going to celebrate the removal of Azerite armor and this stupid system along with not caring about the so-called lore they put out to explain why it was removed.
