Axe Toss interrupt

Am I the only one not really liking this?

My main issue with it is that sometimes you want to stun, and sometimes you want to kick, yet the way this is set up does not allow you to choose

For example, say a caster mob is standing in sanguine. Demo is still useless to help it move, as our “kick” will stun the mob in the sanguine instead of interrupting it

This change leaves demo virtually unchanged against non-boss enemies. We still have no way to force a caster mob to move. This leaves us right back in the boat we’re currently in for mythics (except on boss fights).

This issue is especially glaring on fortified weeks where bosses are not the threat in the dungeon. Fortified + sanguine will definitely magnify how useless this change is outside of boss fights

This design seems lazy in my opinion. Every single non-healer spec (except resto shaman) in this game has access to an interrupt. There is no reason demo should not.

In my opinion, the Felguard should have a kick himself. He’s a warrior demon. It would be easy for him to just smack someone with his giant axe and disrupt their concentration.

I’m just really not understanding what the logic is that demo cannot possess an interrupt. What is so game breaking about demo having a kick?? Is it for flavor? For lore reasons? Does Blizzard just not like demonology? Is it homogenization?

If it’s any of these reasons, my simple response and argument would be: Look at every other dps spec in this game.

This is such a vital piece of utility that everyone else gets to enjoy the benefits of, and yet Blizzard simply refuses to give demo a proper kick. Instead we get this half baked idea that is basically non existent outside of a boss fight.

Heck, give the felguard a kick and make it share a 15 sec cd with axe Toss. Boom, done. I don’t understand why this is so hard for the dev team. Stop trying to come up with convoluted ways to give us a “half kick”.
