Well, in fairness you can talent into increased duration and charges, so that steed can really book it when you’ve got both. Honestly I wish Blizz would give everyone else (non tanks) more mobility to keep up, but then I think we’d see even more complaints about dps pulling ahead.
I finally got back into the game after my burnout break.
leveled up a couple new lady panda warlocks and yeah…dungeon running has been seriously hysterical, both in TW and just leveling runs. A good percent of these rushy tanks AINT as good as they seem to THINK they are, lmao
So I’ve been running Timewalking dungeons with a bunch of my alts this week to get everyone to 70 so I’d be ready for 10.2.
But honestly, Blizzard’s design and incentivizing for group content is so friendly to antisocial behavior, I honestly don’t want to play any of those 70s moving forward.
I’ve been teetering for a while now, not because of Dragonflight – I love this expansion – but because to be honest I can’t stand the players, and Blizzard’s design team just makes it too easy for them to treat the rest of us poorly and benefit from it.
I might be done. Not that anyone cares – I’m not asking anyone to care – but my entire job is managing poor behavior. I don’t want to PAY MONTHLY to manage even more poor behavior.
100% truth. They aren’t that good. or they so overgeared they dgaf
or you could just do harder content? it’s in the game now. I’m not sure what you’re looking for that isn’t currently available.
I hear you. I’m considering WOTLK classic for icecrown hoping for better player base. Won’t hold my breath.
tanks are big doodoo heads
I wondered when you’d saunter in with your snarky comments! Thanks for joining.
it’s snarky, but is it wrong?
My snark-dar must be broken because I was like, “That’s snarky?” I thought it was true.
However, one could argue that what’s currently missing is a scaling dungeon system sans timer and affixes. Not that I support that, just that I know it’s been brought up on the forums before.
oh definitely. but i know at least one of the people posting here thinks the solution is to nerf tanks and make the easy dungeons harder, neither of which will have the effect they think it will ![]()
Oh, lawd. ![]()
Mythic+ started this whole rush, rush, mess. Before M+, people were content to just mozy through dungeons…
Probably around the time M+ forced them to zerg exactly as you described.
People were rushing wrath dungeons. This isn’t new.
When the game demanded they be… Either you run run run and go brrrrrr, or you constantly have dps running ahead, pulling, and dragging it back to you… They’re not attacking while they’re dragging. At least with you running ahead they’re always attacking unless you can’t keep aggro.
Sorry for being bad. I’m trying but tanking in WoW is proving to be an extreme challange to learn.
I wouldn’t go that far. People still rushed, especially people leveling who were decked out in heirlooms, but agree that in the last 5 years or so it has become so much more prevalent.
Me too. It is a whole different type of pressure than healing was. I got yelled at by a warlock the other day for moving the mobs out of his channeled attack but it was hard not to when there’s a million avoidable frontals and swirls on the ground, extra mobs being aggroed from all sides, and caster mobs channeling bad things that need interrupted by nobody else is doing it.
And then that stupid thing sticks with you so you try to keep improving right. You gather the mobs up, move them to the side to prevent more mobs being pulled, learn what damage you can eat without it being too bad…
And then your told your too slow so people pull for you.
What the doodle!
false. i started playing at the beginning of cata, and people were rushing through dungeons then. m+ didn’t exist then.
