balancing sucks because of the AWC. Just get rid of it. Giant waste of money and resources and all it does it make the game worse for normal players.

I would say that I doubt that’s the reason why they’re not balancing, but the issue with keeping the tournament realms on a different patch, is that it would be difficult to get practice for the players competing.
So AWC is probably the major reason they aren’t balancing, but even before then they were doing 0 tuning. It would be great to get the reasons from Blizzard themselves, but they don’t communicate with the community.

I would like to see all the money they spend on AWC commentators and prize money be redirected to PVP devs, who can make meaningful changes to the game instead.

Idk why they cant play on an old build to preserve the balance snap shot at that time
