Okay first off I’m visually impaired so even if it already told me the answer somewhere I might not have seen it so I’m just asking here. Is the Awakening the Machine Quest able to be done with multiple players or is it a solo only Quest? I’m having trouble getting past the second part on my evoker, he’s like item level 573 so I’m not sure if that’s the reason I’m sucking or if it’s just because I can’t see that well LOL.
i believe its a solo thing idk
but the mobs with the
fire beam interrupt them
pillars stand in front of them
the red pack bots run to them to explode
the bigger bots move away and kill them
green pack bots drops healing pots on death
Wow, that was a mouthful. Thanks for the tips and I will try that later. I was honestly hoping it would be kind of easy but the evokers really aren’t doing that well for me. I might have to Time Walk boost my blood elf paladin and then put some gear on her and send her in. At least I know I can constantly interrupt with her as well as keep myself and that other guy healed easily while still doing relatively decent damage
Any kind of interupt works on the fire beam casters.
And you should have to worry about his health until wave 10 when you can heal him with the dropped pots.
It is actually really easy as long as you obey the mechanics.
Well I think I only have two interrupts with a 1.5 minute cool down on each of them as an evoker, and I do try to follow the mechanics, but I’m also visually impaired in need of surgery which thankfully be having before the end of the year. Cataracts make it very hard to see as it is making my vision darker as well as making things blurry at times and it’s kind of messing with the red/green color aspect of my eyesight. Essentially I feel that temporarily I’m screwed LOL
Holy priest here with no interrupt.
You can use any from or cc on those fire casters to kill them. Eg hammer of justice. (Not sure if roots work though)
Those explodey mobs deal damage to others if they are range when they explode. Electric zappy thing you can put a mob between it and the friendly npc and it takes damage.
Run over healing potions to heal npc or even heal him yourself. Use intervals (every 5 rounds) to heal up npc.
Boss at level 20 has a charge move away from him so you can dodge it.
Sending hugs. Good luck with the quest. I haven’t tried it yet because I’m so slow and don’t do well with mechanics. It’s sitting in my quest log but I have been to apprehensive to try it.
btw…Appreciate all the kind help given here and other posts I’ve seen, ty to all.
For the quest, you do not need to do 20/20 waves. So if you get stuck somewhere, you can repeat it 2-3 times a week and get credit for the weekly quest. You’ll only get the weekly loot chest (can have restored coffee key) plus the machine specific chests based on your higher threshold (eg 5/20, 10/20, 15/20 or 20/20, in a single run).
It shouldn’t take long to get the hang of it, but if the machine speaker is running low on health while you’re learning, non-healers can use bandages on him to patch him up when you have a window of opportunity.
Also for the quest you don’t have to do all 20 in one go. You can go in do 10 levels leave then go back and do the last 10. You can even break it down more if you’re really having issues. The reward chest won’t be as good but you still get the weekly for 20 waves done.
Additional note, the tower also hurts enemies, so you can use it to kill faster
lol i just use it my self it misses the large guys and goes to the npc lol
