lol strategy, you’re kidding right
i can do it on a fresh 80 without thinking, it’s just boring
It was in Remix! For which I was very, very glad.
Try it on a squishy class with an ilvl below 530 and see how it goes. It can get really tight in the last few waves without having a plan.
Once you’re above like ilvl 570 it starts to get less interesting. Above 600 I start to want the “send me everything” button.
There also comes a mob after wave 10 that drops a green potion you can just walk over when it is lying on the ground which heals the npc also. Very easy.
I find it annoying so I just don’t do it.
It’s some of the easiest rep I’ve ever attained.
Well, if you did it as brew you would likely fall asleep.
Happens to me on my bdk, would help if mob counts were higher, but fighting 3 things each wave till 15 isnt really a challenge, its tedious, its mononotous, and if there wasnt a key for delves locked behind it, i would be all to happy to stop.
If they fix m+ prog i would stop all delves/WQ in the game in a heart beat
Most of the time I just waddle around, one-tap one mob, then waddle around some more before one-tapping the next.
Since it isn’t designed to be hard content, the one change I would really like is for a “No-Breaks” mode just for convenience in speeding the waves along.
Yea some qol would be before we start theres a diakogue optiom that said "yes machinespeaker, i want to face the waves at increased speed from 1 to 20 nonstop.
Man, it is SO SLOW.
The waves come in such weird timing and the flow feels like being tortured.
I did it twice and was so bored quit halfway through thr second time. Straight up just abandoned the run. Will never do it again.
As a afliction lock, my dots take time to kill. In between phazes i healed him up to full.
I would just go destro (that’s what I actually did btw).
I get wanting content to be consistent for every spec, but I don’t think Blizzard is willing to go the extra mile needed for balancing things.
It’s the same issue as delves: Burst >>> sustained in these environments.
It needs more modes to spice it up.
Keep the current as it is as the bare minimum for the weekly.
But have some modes that increase the difficulty so that some of us can challenge ourselves or something.
There needs to be a lever you can pull to make all 20 waves come at once.
Sounds like someone has an OP FOTM class and has not tried this on a Rogue or Shadow Priest Or they were bored in over level gear.
It’s because the gong hardly does anything. It doesn’t send everything at once, but rather removes the delay between one wave ending and the next wave starting. It saves some time if you use it, but the encounter still takes like 5 minutes of one-shotting everything that spawns.
Ohh okay, well that’s a bit of a letdown then. Thank you very much for explaining how it works.
Oh I’m so sorry. I didn’t know that I couldn’t play the game the way I enjoyed it by having fun with the event.
i would do a torghast run before this …that say its all
It’s an easy key, and once a week a nice surge of rep for the warband. I like it.
I agree it’s a bit dull, and the toolboxes are weird? It implies you can stack some of the tool box buffs 100 times, but you only can get one tool box and the buffs don’t spawn in any other way?
