How would players of all 3 spec’s feel about holy’s awakening be moved into the class tree to compete with ZP?
Then have SW moved into the spec trees to compete with crusade, sentinel, and AC.
I feel like wings procs on HP dumps would feel fun for all 3 spec’s.
Awful. I am of the belief awakening is not good gameplay for holy paladin, at least not while we have holy power. Large amounts of healing power being tied to rng is just objectively bad, things like divine purpose are okay but awakening is a bit too much power behind rng. It also causes gameplay issues, we spam Lod/wog into full health targets in order to fish for awakening procs which is really bad gameplay.
I have no idea how it would be for ret/prot but for holy I would rather see it gone unless we move away from holy power.
I cannot speak for holy and prot but as ret I’d like wing procs. Either that or a mechanic that reduces AW cooldown so we get more AW uptime. Ultimate would be redistributing some of AW’s power back into our abilities to increase sustained damage but I don’t think that will ever happen.
Awakening is the only reason hpal even has 2.5% representation in arenas
Awakening on ret would be absolutely broken and make it impossible to live against. Their holy power generation is significantly higher than holy’s
Yeah that isn’t a good thing about holy though. We rely on rng melee wings procs and try not to press normal AC because it’s too expensive. A proc can make or break a game for holy, that is awful.
If I wanted proc gameplay to matter so much I’d play a dps spec that has that kind of gameplay, healer specs have stayed away from large rng/proc power because healers want healing when they need it, I want to know what I have available not pray that I get a proc to full heal my team. Too much power behind it in both pve and pvp, it definitely takes away from our main healing kit as well since they have to balance around awakening. I am sure something else better can take its place. In all honesty though it’s probably not going anywhere, I just do not think it works well with holy power at all.
When I say I’d rather see something gone, I do not mean without replacement.
Perhaps then have rets awakening have a lower proc chance?
yall gotta stop wanting out main cd to have more uptime. more uptime on big cds means the less powerful that cd will be overal. holy got nerfed in s3 SL because of wing uptime btw. rank 3 gone because the tier and awakening combo gave large amoutns of uptime
