So I have Myth 4/4 (528ilvl) Tome and Awakened 14/14 (535ilvl) Rageheart as Trinkets.
I got Ward trinket (Awakened 5/12, ilvl506) but now I have to spend the Wyrm and Aspect Crests ALL AGAIN to upgrade the Ward to max…
I am spending crests 3rd time to upgrade my trinkets???
Is that a bug? Or is it new change? Lol
On your priest?
You need both trinket slots upgraded to the same point before it stops requiring crests. Same with rings and MH/OH weapons.

What I think is going on here is that the Rageheart isn’t counting, because priests don’t have Rageheart on any spec’s loot table, so it’s not counting towards the upgrade discount (the same way leather armor doesn’t count for a clothie, or cloth for a druid).
That Ward can only go till ilvl 528 at max Awakened.
Both of my current trinkets are 528 ilvl and 535ilvl respectively.
So, where do we go from here lol
Yeah, sorry. I misread your post. Capslock may be correct that the Fyrakk trink isn’t counting because it’s not a “priest” item.
Yeah I’m thinking the same. Rageheart is a tank trinket. And trinkets are kind of weird when it comes those that are designed to be role only.

The general rule is that if you class can’t need on an item, don’t assume it would work for upgrade discounts.

I mean, if you’re not doing current +18s, I’m not sure why you went rageheart as one of your 1st bullion buys.
Easy trinket. Free dps plus self shield.

It’s only taken when doing 15+ keys because mechanics aren’t survivable by many healing classes as they don’t have many self defensive options.
Below that, you can survive mechanics and puddles typically don’t one shot you.
Buy what you want though 
Tome trinket does alot of damage by itself.
I dont like other dps trinkets. Waiting on Ragefeather in my vault for sure lol
If it was just damage, Belor’relos is the better play (since that would have counted for your upgrade discount), but the best overall would probably be either Icon or Chromatic Essence.
I bought a trinket today and i had to spend my crests to upgrade it too 
Same thing, Tank only trinkets don’t count for unlocking crest discounts for classes without a tank spec.
I did not think rageheart did not count for me. Makes sense. I still got a discount on flightstones but not on crests.
