This might be as intended, I really hope not but I got a Season 2 [Draconic Mark of Mastery] off the awakened raid. If not intended can I get this item exchanged for season 4?

Same thing happened to me. I killed Awakened H Sark and it gave me the Season 2 mark of mastery instead of Season 4 Awakened mark. Submitted a ticket, but didn’t get any resolution.

Marks of mastery arent drops. They are from the season master achievements. You likely got dragonflight season 2 master upon killing heroic sark.
I got both Marks of Mastery because I killed H Sark on a character that didn’t kill him in S2. Check your bags to make sure you also didn’t get both.
The new one is called Awakened Mark of Mastery.

What’s likely not intended is being able to get the achievement Dragonflight Season 2 Master (and the associated season 2 mark of mastery) during season 4. Marks of mastery are only obtainable once a season by completion of the respective feat of strength. You completed the season 4 master achievement on 4/29, during week 1, but got Dragonflight Season 2 Master on 5/2.
So the bug here is that you were able to get the season 2 master achievement at all during season 4. We might see the same thing next week with Season 3 Master for those who did not do it originally.
