Avoidance pvp worth it?

I play balance druid in battlegrounds pvp. A helmet with +327 avoidance popped up in my vault today. Is avoidance any good for a balance druid in RBGs?

I have a bit of Avoidance as bonus on my trinket from the Great Vault…
If it doesn’t come at the expense of a main or a secondary stat, I’d say take it 100%
I have 4%, and it’s way better than nothing. Always looking for more survivability

avoidance/leech/speed that sometimes appears on gear from the vault is inactive in rated pvp. The enchants and talents that boost these stats do work in rated pvp though

Imagine a game where gear is gear… I can’t.

Nice one! I did not know that!

That does make sense though. My necklace from the vault had exactly the same stats as a regular neck piece, plus the avoidance. Usually, most pieces in wow will decrease some other stat to give you the extra boost of some secondary. However, the Vault does not decrease any stats to give you the Avoidance (likely because it does not work in Rated PVP). Still very nice to have and quite pleased with the Vault drops in general.

God forbid they put that on the forking tooltip. Pretty cool to learn this after an entire season has finished.
