Avoid Solo Shuffle Deserter Debuff with this One Simple Trick

Tired of losing rating in Solo Shuffle? Upset that your strategy of /afk’ing on game 5 has been thwarted by Blizzard’s most recent update? Well, if you want to leave a game, but don’t want to deal with that pesky 15-minute deserter debuff or that obnoxious rating loss, just simply type “/logout” and you’ll be instantly removed from the game with no consequences or repercussions otherwise!

(please fix your broken game, Blizzard)

edit/disclaimer: people are upset saying that I’m promoting an exploit. I don’t recommend you do this and I don’t promote this kind of behavior in rated PvP. I hope you all can read into the sarcastic tone of the bit here. Just trying to flavorfully bring attention to a bug that needs to be addressed immediately.

They really should have beta tested this stuff.

Seems like something you would open a bug report for and not post an exploit in the forums risking a temp ban.

Where is the fun in that?!

Or you’ll be banned for promoting an exploit and telling people to exploit.

Reminds me of the Draco Malfoy scene from the first Harry Potter movie.

“All four of you will receive detention.”
“Excuse me Professor, perhaps I heard you wrong. I thought you said, the four of us?”
“No, you heard me correctly Mr. Malfoy. You see, honorable as your intentions were, you too were out of bed after hours. You will join your classmates in detention.”

Only replace detention with you getting a banhammer for promoting an exploit on the official forums.

Funny thing is they did.

Whats amazing here is someone took the time to find this.

I thought everyone just alt hopped deserter buffs. So I learned 2 things today.

Yeah, but Draco’s dad can get him out of trouble.

What if OP has a cousin/uncle/brother/sister/friend/neighbor/classmate who works at Blizzard? I know lots of people from trade chat say they’re great uncle actually started Blizzard!

Pretty sure we are the beta test, lol.
