Avoid Immortal Alliance Guild

I’d like to think that full guildy runs were safe from leaders swapping to master loot for specific bosses to need items but apparently not. Just throwing out a warning that the leader of Immortal on alliance just swapped to master loot to take a strength agility ring from a boss and swapped right back after. His excuse? I thought everyone knew we reserved gear on runs. It was scarlet monastary . . . and i was the only other person who could use the item. I didn’t spend over an hour running dungeons just to have zero chance for loot if he can use it lol.

The sad thing is I don’t care about gear on mid level dungeons. And i wouldn’t care if it was pointed out ahead of time, but I don’t play that game when there’s no warning ahead of time. If they do it at this level they’ll do it later. Getting that greedy on low level items is already sad but is a sign of things to come later. Be careful out there fam and make sure you find a good group of people to run with.

Silly on low/mid level content to be so obsessed with gear.

if they do it at low levels, what’s going to stop them at end game ?

I wasn’t disagreeing with the OP. It is silly to do irrational things like that on low/mid level content, or even at all. But especially on gear you will out level shortly.

good point

Thanks <3, my “do not run with” list is getting pretty big. I will ignore all of them.

Hey tankbee, so what your saying is you didnt knoe any of our guild rules, and then didnt want to follow them after being informed. Ok. You can have your opinion. But in all honesty, i as the hunter that was in the group, still would have had priority over it before you. So continue to cry and let history forget you like everyone else. And if you want to avoid thianguild good, we dont need the likes of people who assune they wont get a chance to get an item because they didnt get if first.

So hopefully this has been put to bed now.

Don’t complain about rules if you ignored them.

Read the rules so you understand silliness like master loot/loot council on all guild content, no matter how low level it is.

Master loot is still shady no matter what your “guild rules” are. It’s SM not MC, if you’re on the run you should be able to roll. OP is right no matter how you guys defend yourselves. “Loot council” wtf is that?

Let’s be fair, he did state that he was checking an add on and was the reason it went to master loot.

Loot council on all dungeons is apparently a guild rule. Rules are rules. Even if I don’t care for that setup, it wasn’t hidden from the average player.

Also had a rule that discord/voice is used on guild runs. Which would help with team building. Though I am sure there are exceptions like kids sleeping/need to be quiet.

They say they inform new members of the rules. To ignore them then claim injustice because of them is just as silly (imo) as loot council in all dungeons.

You misunderstand. I don’t care about how much or whom ever its an upgrade for. It’s a mid level dungeon that can be run multiple times in a day.

It’s not a raid with 20-40 people looking at 2-3 drops off each boss and locked out for a week. It’s apples to oranges imo.

You guys seem way to concerned about loot for my tastes. I wish you and the guild well in your future endeavors.

The fact that you run loot council in leveling dungeons and aren’t actually a high end raiding guild (nor will you ever be) has already given your guild a bad name on the server.

Based on the replies in this thread so far it is very evident what type of guild you are. It is good that you recognize people will condemn your guild for it because that is exactly what has happened. I personally would never group with any member of your guild based on this thread alone.

Karl-It is pretty sad to me that you are basing your entire opinion on one persons viewpoint instead of many from our guild. I have recently joined Immortal and have not had anything bad to say about it since day one. We run very fairly when it comes to dungeons. I simply don’t understand how anyone can look at a guild member who has 2 rings already complaining they didn’t get the tank ring from the tank who only has 1 ring. In all aspects it only makes sense to gear your tank. It is stated in our guild rules and policies that appear in discord that this guild gears the tanks and healers first because they run dungeons constantly for the guild. It makes sense to have your heal and tank roles well geared no matter the level. We run dungeons constantly all level ranges normal group loot. A guild run is different. A guild run, runs by the rules we have stated clearly in our guild-guidelines tab. If they didn’t like the rules they shouldn’t have stayed in the guild in the first place. Please instead of taking sides run WITH Immortal people and see for yourself. So far I haven’t seen a single other person coming in agreeing and sharing a similar experience. If this was a common thing with our guild, wouldn’t you see more people with similar experiences?

The fact that you guys loot counciled a low level 5 man ever, for any reason, tells us all we ever need to know. There is no circumstance in which that acceptable. There is no circumstance in which an even remotely mediocre player would ever think to do that. And the fact that this even crossed your mind means I will not join a group with anyone with that guild tag.

You missed the entire point of my post.

You run loot council in leveling dungeons. For that reason alone you have given the server enough evidence to blacklist your entire guild from any an all content.

Good luck trying to survive to 60 and actually make it as a raiding guild which is the only point at which loot council is acceptable (when 40 players are all vying for 3 pieces of loot).

I am amused that this thread has almost as many views as the pinned “Welcome” thread on this forum.

Best of luck to you, being the GM of a guild is rough.

Not sure what’s going on with the “black list” talk. It was used during guild runs. Affected no one outside of the guild. Not sure why thats worthy of “Black listing”.

You alliance are an interesting lot. Disbanded the guild and remade it with the same name?

old GL disbandeded. I restarted. but thank you. I have been a Leader in the past. but as for the drama in the past, I just want to move on.

As far as the blacklist element goes, I look at it like this: My time is worth something to me. Loot counciling any 5 man, let alone a lowbie 5 man, is absurdly incompetent and inefficient. I would not want to spend my time in a pug with people who do this or are even fine with being in a guild that operates like this. If that’s your level of decision making, I’ll pass. The blacklist so to speak is basically a consensus of players saying that this guild is probably not worth grouping with.
