I’ve seen a couple sites with data from some census type add-ons… I see lists of data stating characters and item level of those characters, but I’m curious if there are any sites that report the average item level of all characters. The data is obviously there, but I don’t see any of these census sites reporting this metric. Are there any tools available that would make it easy to do this on my own ? I’m just curious to see if I am keeping up with the joneses. That’s all. Nothing serious.

Yes, that would be correct, however, as a realist who who doesn’t have an inferiority complex, I would say one who feels inferior simply doesn’t have the mindset that they probably have the same opportunities as anyone else. So I would see it as a benchmark to possibly see what areas I might need to work on in the forseeable future… I think it’s a good idea to keep somewhere in the middle, that way there are always bigger fish to fry, and someone lower. Not that I have a need to keep up with the joneses per say, lol.

Most of my 60 chars are around 120-135 cuz i left it there after i finished leveling. Gearing up is kinda pointless because higher ilvl gears sell for more gold and thus transmog costs can become quite high.
This is not obvious at all. “All players on a server” would include level 1’s with an ilvl of 0. Level 10 and up, ie armoryable toons, would include those who have been played recently. Even level 60 toons would include many that aren’t being played and will expire soon.
From what I seen play on multiple toons at 60 roughly level 180 for world quests and higher in some places in the game,that is comfortable playing.
If you’re looking for a fact sheet there is none that I know.
I think there is like an “ilvl rating” on either raiderio which basically states if the players ilvl is in the top 80% of players on the server and such.
But don’t quote me on it, it was awhile ago I saw it and it wasn’t something I delved into so it might be something completely different.
