lmao mogged by ret warr rdruid ALSO BUMPING
Pls blizz fix halp
hopefully it gets fixed
Bumping. Please address this blizzard
This PvP season has been an unmitigated disaster
Prepatch honor gains, post-launch honor gains in EOTS, meta lemmings buying 58 boosts and all going Horde, huge queue times, retail rating system, starting at 0 rating, arbitrary and revisionist ratings requirements on gear
It’s like every single decision is made with the intent of killing off PvP participation
Hello there, just me looking for a blue post reply on something as important as this. Oh you’re on your cube crawl break? hehe no worries i’ll wait
There is no other conclusion to be drawn, and ive tried desperately to find one. They didnt want to attempt balancing 2.4 burst against the kitty pool of starter resilience and just snuffed out the golden age of pvp in its crib so they didnt have to work a bit. Absolutely shameful, and all the changes were nonsensical.
Meanwhile on Oceanic servers we literally can’t get Gladiator titles at all because we only fight eachother yet pad the USA ladder. Zero point in us even playing since we can’t compete for any rewards.
Blizzard please address this!
This is also another huge issue. Oceanic players need to be able to queue into NA players if they are above 2k or something.
I’ve also noticed the skill level of players in 1300-1500 bracket is SO much higher than i’d expected, it’s quite crazy and trying to break into the 1600’s is not so smooth. It’s cool apart from the gigantic restriction on gear, 1850 for wep? yeah dont think that will happen. As for titles… I think many peoples expectations will be ruined.
why on earth is OCE part of the US ladder? actually makes 0 sense
but still fix cutoff blizzard thx
It’s ridiculous. We have plenty of rank 1 quality players we won’t even be able to get Glad.
They need to do one of the following.
- Allow us to vs US west teams.
Or - Give us our own ladder.
Not this brainlet system where we only right eachother but are ranked against the US.
I’ve noticed this as well. I am 2.3k CR on retail and playing a diff class in TBC but have noticed that even at the 1400 bracket you are queueing into people who feel like roughly 1800 xp on retail matches, just the coordination the teams have and certain moves they do, it is definitely not the ‘1400’ that you may imagine where people are learning their classes, backpedaling, etc.
This as well. Starting at 0 here is different compared to retail. There are genuine players at 900.
These teams need to count towards the rewards. This is how it was in Original TBC. Got ten games? You counted. Just because we started at 0 to make it easier to port arena from retail doesn’t mean we abandon the TBC design intent.
Nope it’s standard operating procedures by blizzard.
Bro that ship sailed with paid boost and mounts. Should have fought with no changes. Lol
The guy who literally made Classic, Omar Gonzalez, jumped ship before TBC launched because he knew what a mess Blizz made it.
Combination of money hungry sales people and bad devs trying to make a name for themselves:
“Look how creative I am boss! I made an Arena system that has never been used before in Classic or Retail!!! I know it will be awesome in TBC C!”
They literally ported the live system over as it was easier to use then coding the old tbc system back in. They added teams back and called it.
So we’ve got three issues as a result:
Horrible arena point gain due to teams way below the 1500 norm (fixed after 2 months)
API ignoring all teams under 1k (which is a flat out bug)
Rating requirements are even harder. It’s easier to climb 350 points then 1850 points. I know it’s hard to believe, but there are actual players with 900 MMR who are stuck there trying to get better and get higher.
Can you please explain this? I don’t quite understand what you are saying here. My rouge friend and I have over 500 games and we keep sinking in rating. We got up to 1450 and are now back below 1300. We just can’t seem to get anywhere in arenas no matter how much practice we put in. I watch 2000 rated games all the time with our classes, but in practice we just get curb stomped by some of these comps.
Also, another 2s team got to 1980 and fell back to 1700, then disbanded the team. I haven’t seen the one player in a week. Not sure they are still playing.
