Hey guys, i have a simple question.
When i queue AV, time is 1 hr 30 min.
While im waiting, i queue WSG, 8 min of queue. So i wait WSG 10 min, i play WSG 10 min = 20 min. I did this 3 times. So i consumed 1 hr of AV queue.
This works like im thinking? or when im inside WSG the queue AVs time is paused?

Your AV queue is paused during that time.

This is also a change from its vanillla behaviour - all ques would continue to count down while inside a bg, and you could even get a que to pop for a different bg - this was the best way to leave painful games without gaining deserter.

Yeah the downside to that is rampant bg hopping. Was always nice to queue for 3 bgs and go into the first bg while waiting for another to pop. A lot of people did that though.

The issue with rampant bg hopping is those that do it usually are sitting in a battlemasters room looking for the next pug to roll. Opting to leave mid game because ab popped is what i remember about vanilla bg’s. We would q ab as a premade then all solo q for wsg/av. It increased actual playtime and enjoyment.

Could you imagine what would happen if Alliance mains no longer interested in AV, rerolled and leveled up a troll ult and just farmed and qued for AV?
It would be the ultimate troll job. Not only are they removing themselves from the alliance AV times, they are adding themselves to the horde AV que times.

I was thinking about the benefits of rolling a horde ult on the same server to take advantage of any market differences between the two auction houses. While farming…one could easily and ever so subtlety “pile on” to the que times.
Just a thought that passed through my head. I sure hope nobody would ever do that. That could really blow up that BG.
If you didn’t actually play the BG on that alt, it wouldn’t have any effect at all on the queue times.
Ya I guess in order to make the effect complete, they would have to take the que that pops and then just leech on follow with the crowd…
