AV threat: "PASS ME LEAD RIGHT NOW OR YOU WILL REGRET IT!" - Account Punished

Curious, is reporting somebody “AFK” still a thing, in both Classic and Retail? I don’t PvP, so I wouldn’t know. 'Cause does one even need to respond (or say anything, in general), in order for folks to even do that? How does that work, exactly? Just saying, some don’t need to Silence somebody, in order to hurt them but just kicking them out of the BG would suffice…

What OP did (not passing lead) is sabotage. He is keeping the other players who want to win from marking tanks and making raid warnings informing other players where to go/what to do.

Just going to add. Neither party was correct in their decision making here.

All these weirdos defending the rcr abusers… so strange. You keep talking about it like it’s just a tool to get a good raid leader, but read the OP. It’s clearly a power trip. He demands obedience of a stranger, screws him over, and then threatens him to obey in the future. It’s a neckbeard on a power trip.

Let’s all come together and take a moment to laugh at how pathetic a person must truly be to get off from this type of behavior in an online game.

Then you get the one that makes everyone a tank so you can’t see your screen.

Fun times.

If that is how you really feel, then the correct action would be to file an actual griefing complaint. Mass reporting for spamming would still be considered an wrongful report and actionable.

That does happen.

I know, which is why I specifically used it as an example.

I actually don’t know myself either. I would imagine.

I would also imagine the AFK report wouldn’t work if the report detects movement of some kind or if you don’t have the AFK tag. (i think that how it works? idk, correct me if i’m wrong, i don’t know a huge deal of these things.)

Disgusting is the better word for it.

Your guess is as good as mine. Was curious. If they can’t Silence, I was thinking of that AFK Report System. But, I’m fairly confident it doesn’t function the way I think it does

the AFK report doesn’t even work lol. If it does i have yet to see it actually remove someone. As far as I know all they have to do is hit spacebar when the debuff shows up.

Keep exploiting and see what happens.

It may not be important to protect your reputation on a video game, and it may not ruin your life to be bullied on one either, but it is important to stand up for yourself.

You may not care about someone who is trying to purposely ruin people’s gaming experience because it’s just a game and you can move on to the next, but not everyone just wants to give into those types of people even if its over a video game. “Listen closely to this one” Standing up for yourself when people have wronged you is NOT a bad thing.

Exploiting what? Cave camping? I don’t need honor I just want pvp. No Honor isn’t going to stop that.

Not passing lead is NOT sabotage. Getting a leader who starts the BG AFK is.

OK, I was semi-close, to how it functioned. I didn’t realize that it gave a Timer, to the “AFKer”, in question. So, the AFK works but doesn’t remove said individual, as quickly as the Silence. But the Silence doesn’t even remove, just DCs the person…

If you are asked to do something and you specifically don’t do it…i’m pretty sure that’s sabotage.

sab·o·tage

verb

  1. deliberately destroy, damage, or obstruct (something), especially for political or military advantage.

Quit being dense and keep up your gloating on how you guys are fully intent on gaming the system through premades DESPITE Blizzard’s warning.

I hope all of you continue to harp and gloat.

No you’re describing fealty.

IK I don’t PvP, but how serious is AV/BGs, that “requires” the Leader Role, to be on “the right person”?

That was never in question.
