AV match. We had all towers and were in horde base.
Get rifted = Insta DC
Log in - Insta DC
They win with 0 players left. Did they rift all players? Idk was DC whole time.
IP ban - not for that type of punishment or really any for that matter. But losers like this should be banned forever.
Rift was under map in horde base.
Why did you switch characters. Also, nothing will be done here. Go post over in the customer support forums or send any screenshots/video clips you have to blizzards hacks email.

Who would do such a thing? 
They’ve done this before, and they’re still doing it. Last year, when a premade team was about to lose in AV, they used this trick to force over 30 Horde PUG players to disconnect in Alliance boss room and they ended up “winning.”
We posted a screenshot of it here, and a few affected Horde player showed up to complain, but that thread got mass-reported and taken down.
People were talking about this game in my community…apparently more than half the raid got caught up in the rift…they could not log back in at all…sadly if this becomes really well known…more locks are gonna do it

Yes, you do. The entire reason your “community” exists is to exploit.
This kind of thing shouldn’t happen. Not sure if part of the complaint is “those bad, evil, exploiting HORDE players,” but if so alliance exploit just as much if not more if they know how to do it.
I think in WG I’ve once or twice seen the rifting of players underneath the stairs/workshop at SR, though I can’t remember which faction.
It’s also sad the vast majority of players of any class/spec do not exploit, but after things like this just because they play a class it could be looked at with suspicion.
Not sure what else to say except, yeah, make sure to report it on the bugs forum and hope that blizz cares enough to fix it quickly.
I use rift all the time in av boss room. It’s never dc anyone though.
then the solution is simple.
Keep reporting the exploiters for cheating. “boosting/deranking” works too.
You will need to elaborate though when using the last.

A bug exists? It’s being abused for personal gain before you can say what bug.
Maybe it will make Blizzard take a look at Epic Battlegrounds, they’re too busy with their other 86 game modes.

Streamers leaving one at a time… maybe they’ll get some time to work on retail once all the streamers are gone and only the retail veterans are left.
I have rifted people under the stairs in WG but that’s not an exploit. You can literally just walk in and out of them. No different than the tents near the alliance bridge in ashran. The trick is to make sure your camera is at a weird angle when you set the portal because the enemies camera orientation will match it when you rift them.
That’s not an exploit. It’s the way the ability works intentionally. Now glitching through the world or objects or DCing people is a whole different thing and obviously an exploit and should be banned.
