Why not just include both AV’s that people want in the game and treat them as “different” battlegrounds so that people can queue for a “short” AV and a “long” AV?
But the reason the people who want 1.5 AV won’t support it is because they know deep in their hearts 1.5 AV wasn’t all that popular and given the choose 1.5 queues vs 1.12 queues would be even worse for 1.5 than when there was just 1.5.
Not even just that it opens the door for to many other things.
If you get two AV’s why can’t I choose to level with earlier talents. We’re over geared lets go into settings and choose 1.11 threat and so on and so forth.
They can’t give us 2 versions of only one thing and expect people to sit there totally complicit in the one version of things they wish they had anothet option for.
a) I sincerely hope you are wrong about CRBGs, ESPECIALLY right off the bat
b) CRBGs suck donkey balls and decisions should not hinge on presuming they will be a thing.
At this point I assume that every unanswered question will result in whatever answer is more beneficial to blizzard, rather than to those who were looking to come back to play classic solely.
Again, CRBGs were a reaction to how players had thrown population and faction balances completely out of whack since launch. They were in Vanilla so they shouldn’t be off the table completely but if they’re not necessary they shouldn’t be used at all.
Take it from someone who actually played during those periods, those numbers were anything but common and in fact were rare. The former is scare mongering and the latter is based on solid turtles.
