So it looks like the current AV games go like this if you are not in a premade:
A premade group doesn’t get into the AV they want so they cancel.
The game starts with very few on one side vs a full team.
The larger side caps a ton because they outnumber the smaller one greatly but leave a GY open so the smaller team rez there.
Larger farms smaller at GY until the objectives are maxed out.
Eventually larger ends the game, giving smaller nearly no honor and rep.
So I propose a new meta for PUG AV:
If you get in a game that starts with less than half of your team or if you come late into a game like this then just AFK out. Let the BG cancel itself due to lack of players. You’re not getting much anyways, why give the other team anything?
Let’s really break AV since it’s just a mess right now!
It’s basically what’s happening to Alliance PUGS right now. You go in, game starts very lopsided, you get no objectives done and very few kills, basically come out with nothing.
There’s very little to lose by AFKing out. And maybe the next AV will start out with closer numbers so you’ll have a chance.
At the very least maybe Blizzard will have to fix the whole mess for both sides.
Generally this means the tunnel, which also gets camped. It also means you waste time making the run and by that time the BG is pretty much lost.
The main issue here is games starting out so lopsided that your side realistically never recovers from. I don’t blame anyone for camping a GY, it’s a good strategy. However, it leads to very degenerate games that really aren’t worth playing for the weaker side.
I dunno about that. If I’m solo queuing for pvp, im looking to have fun. If I want to rank I’d premade. So, If I’m solo queuing and not having fun, then that honor amount is meaningless to me and I’ll just afk out and go duel outside IF or something for fun instead.
That will never happen. It takes five minutes for a game to end from lack of players, and about a minute for an empty game to fill up. The math doesn’t add up on that one.
No the sociopaths are the ones continuing to see nothign wrong, about dropping the queues that lead to this type of game. you do have an option, you can not take the rez and run to your cave and stay there. you can leave if you truly want, or you can coordinate your raid to all run to your cave and rez and fight back.
What you’re doing is called insanity. Doing the same thign over and over again, and expecting different results. you have other options of getting away from the camp, yet you choose not to.
